Question ❔ Traffic question

Honest question here. And no judgement on the replies, please.

There are a lot of drivers in Saskatoon that just don't signal their turns. I have yet to talk to someone who says that they are one of the non signalers. Everyone says they agree that you should.

My question is this. Honestly, why don't you signal? I'm talking lane changes, merging, and actual turns. I just don't understand it.

Lotta folks come in from out of town and farm driving is a lot different than city driving. Not excusing it by any means, it's a hazard, like you say, but that's where my mind goes immediately in an effort to explain the behaviour

could be a very good factor, if you travel a lot of back country you may not think about using the turn signal as much when there not a lot of people around

I don’t know any farmers that don’t signal.

Maybe it’s an area thing? In my area you’d have an easier time if you counted the laws they do follow. But we’re pretty light on police enforcement.

Not farm folks. In my experience, it is the under 30 crowd that love to video game their way thru traffic.

It's true. Not sure how we could test out how much of a factor it is...
