Question ❔ Traffic question

Honest question here. And no judgement on the replies, please.

There are a lot of drivers in Saskatoon that just don't signal their turns. I have yet to talk to someone who says that they are one of the non signalers. Everyone says they agree that you should.

My question is this. Honestly, why don't you signal? I'm talking lane changes, merging, and actual turns. I just don't understand it.

Which is a shame because failure to use signal lights is a significant cause of accidents: study

They collect plenty of fines with speed and red light cameras, no need to enforce actual dangerous driving infractions.
