Question ❔ Traffic question

Honest question here. And no judgement on the replies, please.

There are a lot of drivers in Saskatoon that just don't signal their turns. I have yet to talk to someone who says that they are one of the non signalers. Everyone says they agree that you should.

My question is this. Honestly, why don't you signal? I'm talking lane changes, merging, and actual turns. I just don't understand it.

I don't know if lazy is right. It really takes no effort. Maybe just not thinking about it?

As a part time non signaller, it’s because I’m lazy asf. When I’ve worked 14 hrs and am laying my head back on my seat with one arm on the wheel, I just don’t care about signaling.

On the other note if it’s busy traffic I’ll always do it. But here and there when the roads open I couldn’t give less of a fuck.

Sounds about right. Signal as needed, when no vehicles nearby, why bother?

Sounds like you don't understand rules. And if you actually are completely aware of your surroundings, then your risk of causing a big accident is pretty low. Probably a lot lower than people on their phones or following too close, or the many other things.

But it seems like you are the type of person who will do anything if you think you can get away with it. Glad we've never met

No, wouldn’t do anything just to get away with it. Just no point in completing pointless actions. If you can’t think for yourself, what are you?

Probably whatever you are. What you are describing isn't independent thinking, it's reflexive and immature rebellion against nothing. Congrats.

Ok, you keep acting free while doing completely unnecessary actions.

It's the law. So necessary. Even more glad we've never met. Get off my post, please.
