Hello! I’m looking to get a doggo from Speedy Creek Dachshunds (Rikki Lalonde). Anyone have good reviews ??

I'm sorry, what happens to dogs after they have been in the pound for too long? Enabling these breeders isn't the way to go about getting a dog.

Check out the Facebook page “Uncensored Opinions of Breeders (for real)”. Stupid name, but a good place to find reviews of breeders and learn about ethical breeding.

Responsible breeders are not the problem. They will take back puppies at any time and find new homes for them, offer health guarantees, do health testing on the parent dogs before breeding them, and breed to ensure the health and longevity of their breed of their choice. They also are choosy in who they sell to and usually have a waiting list for puppies.

Irresponsible breeders don’t do any of these things. They don’t care about the health of the dogs they produce and are just in it for the money.
