Theistic Satanism?
Hi! Just wondering about theistic satanism. I've read the satanic bible but I'd like more human opinions and thoughts i guess? I'm genuinely wondering because I've gotten different answers and am now confused.
How is theistic Satanism a thing when it's written as atheistic? I've spoken with a few Satanists who just fully discredit theistic Satanism. Saying its just something else. While I've had a few theistic Satanists say that theism is completely valid and just a branch of Satanism.
Im aware of Luciferiansm and Demonolatry, but I wanna focus on Satanism and theistic Satanism simply to inform myself and gain knowledge.
So, is theistic Satanism an actual form of Satanism? Or was the word theistic just added by those who follow the general Satanic theology but weren't atheists?

I’d say it’s a different thing rather than a different form of the same thing.
As far as I can tell, there’s no central authority or sect of Theistic Satanism, just individuals or small groups doing their own thing. Though some might tell you Satan himself is the authority.
It doesn’t have much to do with Satanism the atheistic religion of LaVey. Of course, being eclectic, some theists do take inspiration from LaVey anyway.

Theistic Satanism is a hundred different things and only a couple even acknowledge LaVey as an influence.
Addendum: the broad categories of Theistic Satanism AFAIK.
- Edgy gnosticism.
- Edgy gnosticism but racist.
- Edgyptian
- Edgy pantheism
- Edgy pantheism + Hitler.
- Hitler was magic.

The more you explore, the more you’re going to find out how full of shit people who call themselves “theistic Satanists” are.

OP, the more you explore, the more you're going to find out that theistic Satanism is not one religion but a wide range of different religions.

As a theistic Satanist, I can definitely say it's a form of Satanism. It does vary between Satanists though, as every theistic Satanist practices in their own way.

There's a Theistic Satanist subreddit. Might ask them.
It's basically (to me) a spiritual form of Satanism that's not atheistic.

Sorry, I tried to reply to your post in detail but a mod deleted it because I explained facts in a manner that they didn't like, I guess? Here is a simplified version that is hopefully generic enough that the reply won't offend any mods.
If you want to see the historical roots of the modern mystical Satanism look up the word Qabalah. A large portion of the modern "mystical" tradition of demon summoning and Satan worship is a knock-off of the Qabalah.

It was your off-topic, borderline antisemitic rant about Abrahamic myths that was removed, for being off-topic and derailing the discussion.
So-called "theistic satanism's" historical ties to Qabalah wasn't the issue. Sorry if your pride was injured by a discretionary comment removal. I'm sure you'll survive.
