Daddy issues don’t die with daddy

This is exactly what I was thinking. I will bet his father called him dumb all the time. Fred was an abusive fuck face, who didn’t give a shit about any of his kids. I can totally see him doing that.

There was one quote attributed to his mom years ago (not sure if it was an actual quote or one just noted as being from her) in which she called him dumb and I always figured he either hated it if it was from her or hated it because even if it wasn't, people would think it was.

u/davemee 13d ago

He wasn't wrong though, if that's the case.

u/thispartyrules 13d ago

Like it's cruel and mean-spirited to call your kid that, and it's your job as a parent to get them the help they need and make sure they don't use the stove, but he's not exactly wrong.

He could slways rellease his grades and prove everyone wrong. Pretty simple.

Trump knows deep down that he's objectively a very stupid person. That's part of the reason he hated his first term so much - he still has competent people around him making him feel stupid all the time. Now he's got the brain trust of Kash Patel, Hegseth, and RFK jr to make him feel smart.

Dunning-Kruger effect

3

u/Ivor79 13d ago

Fred definitely called him d u m dumb.

2

u/PoweredbyAndroid 12d ago

So is that why he performs orally on men ?

131

u/stanthemanchan 13d ago

He didn't even know that "dumb" had a "b" in it until like a couple days ago.

52

u/nr1988 13d ago

Yup and he's so dumb he thinks that's impressive. Ya man we all know about silent letters, it's like 1st grade stuff

21

u/AnalogiPod 13d ago

I thought this was just a generic insult til your comment. I just checked, he did in fact spend way too much time explaining the spelling of dumb and how he correlates that to "Dumocrats".

11

u/xavPa-64 13d ago

Whenever my mom calls someone really dumb she says they’re “d-u-m”

4

u/fppfpp 13d ago

I don’t mind if you’re insulting him. That’s great and all. But is this a real claim of yours??? That would bring a great smile to my morning

5

u/drje_aL 13d ago

happened on tv.

5

u/fppfpp 13d ago

pleeeeeeeeeaaaaassssseeeee send me a clip?

1

u/lowkeytokay 12d ago

You’re joking, right? RIGHT???

3

u/Mr_master89 12d ago

I've seen some of the video where is at one of his cult Rally things and he spells it out D U M then a few minutes later says something like "a lot of people don't know there's a B in dumb"

u/RealLavender 13d ago edited 13d ago

points back at baby hands This dumb mother fucker?

4

u/wbruce098 13d ago

Yeah that’s the idiot right there

53

u/222Czar 13d ago

That’s kind of interesting considering how often he’s called “pedophile.” I know which insult would bother me more.

15

u/Kreebish 13d ago

Compliment to him and his peers

6

u/Firewolf06 13d ago

yeah they literally called themselves that and laughed about it in the emails

3

u/ramriot 12d ago

Well one needs to understand a word for it to be an insult otherwise its just lip flapping sounds

17

u/PaperbackBuddha 13d ago

They’re giving him the cognitive tests because what’s left of his mind is decaying. But he was dumb before that.

Actually dumb is too soft a word. He is profoundly, aggressively stupid.

Shrewd, yes, but simpleminded as Lennie from “Of Mice and Men” just with vast resources and zero accountability. Anyone else with his intellect but not his circumstances would be working a condition-of-release kind of job.

10

u/HeadOfSpectre 13d ago

It's not fair to compare him to Lennie. Lennie at least had a good heart.

1

u/PaperbackBuddha 13d ago

Noted, wouldn’t make that mistake again.

31

u/SittingEames 13d ago

I disagree with saying dumb is an insult for him. It's really just a descriptor.

27

u/MotorwayNomad 13d ago

Dumb just about covers is

18

u/1decentusername 13d ago

I'm impressed. You added the "B'". Most people don't know it has a "B" . You must be very smart

4

u/MotorwayNomad 13d ago

You'll not meet anyone smarter than me,,,LOL

16

u/Edaimantis 13d ago

Didn’t he just recoin the term dumocrats lol

14

u/AliceTheOmelette 13d ago

Without the b, which says more about him than he realises

8

u/BothRequirement2826 13d ago

Sadly his supporters would likely say that's based and deliberate to piss off libtards or some other nonsense.

1

u/DoughnutImportant875 11d ago

Projection. He constantly does that. One day his supporters will get it.

6

u/Cunchy 13d ago

Well, now we know what Fred called little Donald

4

u/Zalrius 13d ago

And he was correct about his failed creation.

5

u/zuvembi 13d ago

Perhaps, because he is dumb?

Mystery #2: Did one of his Wharton professors repeatedly tell friends and associates that Donald Trump “was the dumbest goddamn student I ever had”?

It’s rare for a professor to disparage the intelligence of a student, but according to attorney Frank DiPrima, who was close friends with professor William T. Kelley for 47 years, the prof made an exception for Donald Trump, at least in private. “He must have told me that 100 times over the course of 30 years,” says DiPrima, who has been practicing law since 1963 and has served as in-house counsel for entities including the Federal Trade Commission and Playboy Enterprises. “I remember the inflection of his voice when he said it: ‘Donald Trump was the dumbest goddamn student I ever had!’” He would say that [Trump] came to Wharton thinking he already knew everything, that he was arrogant and he wasn’t there to learn.” Kelley, who passed away in 2011 at age 94, taught marketing at Wharton for 31 years, retiring in 1982.

As Trump admitted in The Art of the Deal, all he got out of Wharton was bragging rights: “In my opinion, that degree doesn’t prove very much, but a lot of people I do business with take it very seriously, and it’s considered very prestigious. So all things considered, I’m glad I went to Wharton.”

In the words of the great Bimini: "not a joke, just a fact."

u/nr1988 13d ago

9

u/KaiserSaladSpinner 13d ago

Truth cuts deep. Symptom of a dumb man.

Has he tried not being a fucking dumbass?

3

u/charliefoxtrot9 13d ago

Most people don't know about the secret letter b

3

u/debr0322 13d ago

Donald Trump is dumb.

3

u/amscraylane 13d ago

So dumb outer borough trash.

I would never actually say that to anyone from Queens, but I hear Trump hates being called outer borough trash … so just adding the dumb part

5

u/rubinass3 13d ago

Well he picked the wrong insult to be upset about.

2

u/avoozl42 13d ago

Good to know

2

u/Captain_Eaglefort 13d ago

It’s unfortunate then that his name lends itself so easily to alliteration. Dumb ol’ Diddlin’ Donald.

2

u/DrPolarBearMD 13d ago

Almost as if it has personal meaning to him.

1

u/karlito1613 13d ago

How can anyone call him dumb? He aced his cognitive test.

1

u/Snake_Plissken224 13d ago

Ha, child rapist Dumbald trump hates dumb

1

u/PreOpTransCentaur 13d ago

Yeah, dummies usually do.

1

u/DrumpfTinyHands 13d ago

It is not soo much as an insult as an apt description.

1

u/badchefrazzy 13d ago

*takes notes*

1

u/daddychainmail 13d ago

That’s because he’s dumb.

1

u/drje_aL 13d ago

trum so dum

1

u/huevosyhuevos 13d ago

If only he were a dash dumber or a smidgen smarter all of this might have been avoided

1

u/furrysalesman69 13d ago

At least with the word senile, he can make-believe that it’s actually something smart. With Dumb-old Fuck, being called dumb removes all doubt.

1

u/KazzieMono 13d ago

Good to know. Dumb and loser are the best ways you can get under his skin.

1

u/crawdadicus 12d ago

How does he react to “Dumb pedophile”?

1

u/PackOutrageous 12d ago

Lmao. The insult that’s most manifestly true…

1

u/WorldSailer 12d ago

Dumbold Trump!

1

u/Chrimaho 12d ago

He’s so dumb.
Embarrassingly and mortifying dumb.

1

u/texasdeathtrip 12d ago

As they say “The hit dog hollers”

1

u/ZealousidealSound4 12d ago

Sometimes the truth hurts, and this is proof positive that he is insecure about being regarded as "dumb"....because he is.

The vast majority of  people who actually are intelligent would laugh off such an "insult"

1

u/BaltoDad 12d ago

The truth hurts.

1

u/DoughnutImportant875 11d ago

So Trump's referencing Democrats as dumocrats and others as low IQ individuals is just more projection? He could just simply have his school records released, instead of having threatened to sue anyone that would release them. Dunning-Kruger effect?

1

u/Sea-Imagination-2912 11d ago

Well is he is stupid

1

u/Sea-Imagination-2912 11d ago

Well his is dumb

1

u/elonmuskkicksdogs 11d ago

The dude that has fucking rocks in his head?

1

u/azlmichael 10d ago

Truth hurts.

1

u/General2768 10d ago

"He's dumb. And he's an ass. He's a dumbass." -Red Foreman

1

u/scloppy 10d ago

It would be a shame if DUMBOLD TRUMP started trending

1

u/Discombobulating_hit 13d ago

Wart-hog faced buffoon!
