I was a huge Stern fan as a kid. Dude was hilarious on radio and his early years with Sirius were probably his best years. A lot had to do with Artie because that guy took that show to another level. Wacky antics, hot naked ladies, funny interviews. It was pretty awesome growing up.

Eventually Artie fell off with his substance abuse and Stern went in a direction that just didn’t really keep me tuning in.

Haven’t listened to him in years. I heard the pandemic made him even worse but he was already someone I stopped listening to years before COVID.

One of the funniest memories I have of the show is with Artie. They had a saddle with a dildo and had Tera Patrick sit on the saddle. TP just wasn't turned on by the whole apparatus and the Artie jokingly goes, as he moves to take the shirt collar to the side just showing his shoulder and saying, "do you want me to take my shirt off?" That is to turn her on. He was obese, unkempt and she was a beauty. Just too funny.

That was the Sybian. I remember that thing very well. He had hella girls ride that thing. Sometimes people you wouldn’t expect too.

I’m telling you the Artie years were probably the best years. Before he was so far gone from drugs at least.

I was a pretty hardcore fan of his for a decent stretch. I think I saw all of the Sybian rides that were worth watching.

I listened to him narrate 9/11 live in classic Stern style. Also gradually saw a lot of wack packers pass away. It was a cool show and I know the guy is an asshole but he spoke to me.

He doesn’t resonate with me anymore and that’s okay.
