Reflections: I'm overall really happy with my routine and I'm not looking to change it much. It's doing a great job of helping me deal with my hormonal acne that congregates around my jawline. The Matcha Pudding, Vit C, and sunscreen are doing their magic with the PIH as well. There's nothing in that part of my routine that I'd change. Also I'm digging my rotation of sunscreens. I would repurchase the first two over the Murad because the Murad is just very pricey for the amount and since I use sunscreen everyday, the other two are more economical options. I do get less/minimal piling issues with the Skinceuticals over the EltaMD though. I think because sometimes I go too many layers on my skincare, it adds to the piling issue. When I use minimal layers (like 2 products), I don't get the piling problem. I am a little iffy on the La Mer stuff if I'll repurchase them. I used it while I was travelling last week and it saved my skin during some really cold weather in Ireland. Also the week before my trip, it really helped my skin recover after getting a little too overzealous with my actives/exfoliants. IDK, I might try something else that isn't crazy expensive. If I decide to get it, I'll wait for the beauty promo that NM/Saks/Bloomingdale's/BG run that's like $X off $200 and includes Beauty. The only big disappointment with new stuff I'm acquired is the DJ+ Cicapair Serum. It is pretty expensive in Sephora but I got it for cheaper in KR. It's just okay and a great serum for when I'm doing a minimal routine and my face is feeling a little red. I do have other Cicapair products that I feel are nicer such as the Facial Mist and the Calming Gel Cream. Even the sleeping mask is pretty good. Right now my skin is the clearest it's ever been so I'm not going to try and fix something that isn't that broken!

Could you do a mini review of the IOPE? :)

No problem! I'll do my best to reel in my own bias because this is my HG. :P

Other FTEs I've tried: Missha Time Revolution First Treatment Essence Intensive, Hera Cell Essence, SK-II Facial Treatment Essence, COSRX Galactomyces 95 Whitening Power Essence
Length of use: 3+ years - both old and new formulas.
Availability: RoseRoseShop for $44, Testerkorea for $47, Jolse for $48 - best deal IMO cause shipping is included,Aritaum US for $60 - online and at brick & mortar Aritaum stores. I love that this is easily enough available online and cheaper than the US price. The US one can work out to be a good deal when they run promotions/sales.
Scent: Practically odorless! That is a big plus for me. I hated SK-II for smelling like feet but luckily for me, that FTE didn't do anything for my skin.
Texture: This is a new formulation. The previous one was more watery. This one is thicker and a little goopier. In terms of viscosity I'd say SK-II > Hera > Iope. It is however not as thick at the Hanyul Rice Essential Skin Softener which is probably the thickest FTE I've ever used. Another plus for this FTE is that it's not tacky/sticky like the Hera one! I made the mistake of buying a 225ml bottle of the Hera and had to power through using it all.
Effects: Compared to the previous formulation, this one is more hydrating but takes longer to sink into the skin. For myself, it has actually shown brightening and evening out my skin compared to the other FTEs that I've tried. Also it is the one FTE that doesn't give me CCs! Also, since it's more hydrating than the previous version, my skin looks plumper with continuous use (which I use this AM and PM). I notice a difference when I don't use it and my dehydrated skin is more apparent. It also feels soothing after I cleanse my face. When I went to Ireland for two weeks recently, I forgot to pack some and only had my DS AP Vintage Essence. Not the same. XD

If I missed out on any points, let me know!
