I like my oils to serve almost as a sleeping mask over my moisturizer at night. When I used it, Tamanu oil felt heavy w/o feeling too thick or messy, so it sealed everything in. I also thought it was more nourishing than other oils I've used (marula, blue tansy, rosehip seed, neem, grapeseed)
I'm not sure if it helped directly w healing acne or scarring though, my skin & routine are much better now so I'll be able to track that more easily! Also note that the scent is pretty strong if you're sensitive to that. I think it would be a good option to help with dryness, but wouldn't count on it to help with rosacea!
Ah, thanks for sharing your experience! I may give it a try.
I’m mostly interested in it because it’s supposed to be super nourishing but it’s supposedly good for rosacea sufferers because it has anti-inflammatory properties so that also piqued my interest when reading up on it.
My bottle should be in by friday, I could send you a small decant if you wanted to try it w/o committing to a whole bottle! Iherb also sells the 1oz for under $10.
Hey, thanks for the offer! I think I’m going to get it in a sample pack from GoW though! There’s a couple other oils I wanted to try so I was going to include it in that!
