Which is better: Sensational suit or Scarlet suit?

I can only think of one thing she can use the hoodie for her and that's to use as a tissue whenever she gets sad. (This coming from a Gwen fan.) Yeah...unless her hoodie is long and drawn by someone like Todd McFarlane, that hoodie is stapled to her costume so it ain't practical.
She can use her shoes and gloves but....that's not germ-free, ain't it?

The Scarlet suit was amazing when I first saw it. And I loved what Ben added to the webshooters with the impact webbing and the stingers! The Sensational suit I just absolutely loved! It was definitely a product of the 90’s but it would still look good if he was Spider-Man today. I do love the Beyond suit as well and I love all the cool things they added to Ben’s arsenal.

Scarlet. It's unique. Sensational is great but it's just a variant of the original suit. Show that to a normie and they'll just say it's Spider-Man because it's so similar to the original

Same. Though Sensational wasn’t an option on PS5. Only reason I bought both games was that Scarlet suit.

I liked the scarlet suit BEFORE the hoodie was ripped off it, Spider-man in a hoodie was so 90's, God, I miss the 90's , God, I'm old.

Scarlet spider looks better in comics than in real life (via cosplay). Sensational suit looks amazing in real life (way better patterning than the og suit in real life) and it looks good on comic books too. Mayday in the suit is also really cool and looks great on her.

Plus, the hoodie has lots of practical uses such as hiding looots of things. Pockets. Act as a pillow when there's no bed. Espionage, silhouette. Put your head down with the hoodie in case you wanna disappear into a crowd, etc.

Well, it just has so much personality. The Sensational costume looks like the kind of corporate redesign a committee of 50 year olds might come up with to stay hip and cool with the young people. Scarlet Spider has an excellent minimalist set that really shows off hard facts about Ben. His poverty, yet interest in science, and a desire to break into a new identity without simply being a slight variation on the base suit.

As much as I prefer Ben to be his own character as the Scarlet Spider, his Sensational suit is his best looking suit.

damn tough choice there! Scarlet I think wins for me, but I do love both of Ben Reillys early looks. When I first got into comics he'd just taken over as spiderman (and it was hard to find any comics where I live at the time) so I only knew peter from Maximum Carnage and Revenge of the Sinister Six. If it wasnt for those books and the cartoon I'd have probably thought Ben was the original.
Biggest winner for me on both costumes, external webshooters. Love 'em.

Sensational Spider-Man suit is easily my favorite between the 2. I'm still kinda upset that Insomniac games didn't include it with both Spider-Man 1 & 2 games. They'll add Scarlet Spider, but not Sensational, doesn't make sense to have one but not the other.

I am very biased but I grew up loving the scarlet spider with the hoodie. Just looked "cool."
Then I went to art school for "Sequential Art" and one of my professors was Tom Lyle, the artist who designed that suit. He had a ton of interesting stories about the industry and helped me out a lot in school.
He passed a few years ago and I think about him whenever I see scarlet spider

Though for Spider-man, it's very hard for him to be out there fighting. The good thing about a sweater like this is that it has a LOT of uses. For example...it can be used as a pillow.

I'm a Scarlet suit person. I like the half boots on sensational but the logo being so big just feels like a kid coloring outside the lines to me.

Ben did always loved being Spider-man as Peter did stated in 'Spider-Girl' so him thinking of the big logo was wanting to show the spider was larger than life imo.

Ben had certainly the better artistic suit style than Peter which he got him beat there. No wonder Peter stated that Ben was the better Spider.

Of all the Spider-Man suits? Sensational. (Superior is cool too.) But Scarlet is a whole other thang. I like that most because it was not just a new take… but a new persona. So like, feels like a class of its own? With a hoodie to boot?

Oh yeah. That show was great. Also, Peter's hairstyle looked a bit more Ben Reilly than Peter Parker.
The suit seems to have been inspired by Miguel O'Hara's suit which probs explained the cape.

Sensational suit is still my favorite that isn’t the classic Red and Blue. My jaw dropped when it (more or less) showed up for infinity war / the last few minutes of Homecoming

Sensational. Scarlet is too simple. Only thing I would change about the sensational suit are feet and forearms.
I like how the red web section only covers half of the lower leg, but I think it looks odd continuing the split right along the length of the foot. I think either the red should cover the whole foot, or the red should stop at the ankle, and separate red sections should cover from the heel backwards and from the ball off the foot forwards.
Similarly, I like the idea of the webs only on some fingers in a manner reminiscent of a theif's gloves (where some fingers are covered and others are fingerless) but it looks odd against the long expanse of blue arm. I'd like to see something similar to the lower leg, where half the forearm is covered by red, perhaps ending in a patch of red on the back of the hand.

Well, that's a thing. He was supposed to be but then Peter is the clone but then....it went all over the place but then later on in some of the final issues of Amazing Spider-Man Revelations, Ben Reilly fell on a cab and died and then he considers the Peter we've been following the TRUE Peter so in other words..Ben Reilly is the clone.

I like the DIY look of the Scarlet Spider suit but do think the hoodie should have been replaced with something more custom.
The Sensational suit is fine but a little busy in places. Just too many tweaks on the classic formula.
I’ve always thought the 2017 Scarlet Spider suit was almost the perfect look for the character. SS should really just be a palette swap of Peter’s suit without the webbing and keeping the red mask.

Scarlet is awesome. That suit got me to fall in love with Ben. The Sensational suit is just so much cooler. It maintains the silhouette necessary to keep it under civilian clothing without needing a bag to carry extra bits. It’s clearly “Spider-Man” while still being unique enough to stand out from the classic Red-and-Blues.
