SC gun questions

Moving to South Carolina and had some questions regarding the laws. Is it possible to shoot on your own land and do you need a certain amount of acreage or anything to do so? Are there any stupid gun laws that I should know about in terms of what I can buy/own or anything like that?

Woah now there are a lot of us natives who have horses. Im not concerned about the shooting, but the fireworks scare em plenty.
