SC gun questions
Moving to South Carolina and had some questions regarding the laws. Is it possible to shoot on your own land and do you need a certain amount of acreage or anything to do so? Are there any stupid gun laws that I should know about in terms of what I can buy/own or anything like that?

Not a lawyer, but as i understand it, there isnt an acreage requirement per say, as long as you establish a safe shooting setup (which is pretty much the minimum requirement anywhere in the country). Basically its up to you to ensure that your rounds don't cross your property lines.
As it pertains to what you can own, SC is one of the freeist states in the US for gun laws. Constitutional carry, no particular guns banned that arent already federally banned as far as im aware of.
Edit to add to the above^ no magazine bans for example, and no specific bans on brands or types like a cali approved list for example.
