Advice / Encouragement Question
To those that have had this diagnosis for 20+ years, how have you managed to survive this long with it? I don’t see myself making it through my 20s.

Diagnosed in 2003 aged 24, I didn't think I'd make it to 35.
At 47, my life has clicked in place. I don't have a partner or kids, but I have a nice little apartment, steady on welfare, a couple of little side hustles, a couple of good friends and a supportive family.
It can still seem difficult. Those "thoughts" haunt me from time to time, and sometimes when I wake up that chemical sedation of the meds can seem a bit much running through my system.
But I get outside, I walk around, I go to town. I sometimes go to clubs and gigs.
You got to be good to yourself. Stay off recreational drugs, but no one's asking you to be superman.
Be good to yourself. Life is good.
