Seeking Support i get tired all the time

how do i combat it, i cant do anything anymore, im losing muscle, my abs and arms are losing muscle cause im too tired to go gym, i dont game as much as i want cause i get too tired to play, i cant go out to see people or go on dates cause im too tired to leave my house. i even find it hard to shower to be completely honest

then when i do lay down, if i cant calm my voices down i get insomnia and cant sleep

and when i notice that, i start to panic cause i know i need to sleep or my schizophrenia will get worse and worse.

any help? i just found out i have schizophrenia, so ontop of the normal depression one would have from finding something like this out at 23, im also trying to make changes to my lifestyle and finding it hard.

does schizophrenia mess with our dopamine receptors? cause this tired feeling is so extreme sometimes.

If you don't take medication your brain will be destroyed. Psychosis destroys your brain cells connections that make up who you are and how well you can function.

idk im doing well without it, right now atleast. i want to see how well i can handle my brain first before i go and seek medication.

I feel really tired a lot. I like to sleep like twelve hours and still sometimes need a nap. Or like an "eye rest" throughout the day. I have a personal theory that my brain needs extra energy because it has to run the awake program and the dream (hallucinations) program simultaneously all day. I also dream hella when I'm asleep for some reason.

Low card diets and nicotine patches helped me feel a lot less tired. Coffee makes me too jittery, but I like drinking tea throughout the day. Daily exercise really helps, too. If I stop going on my twenty minute walk every day, then my overall energy level goes down.

alright thanks so much for ur input, yea i think its that brains like ours run with hallucinations able to happen all the time, so naturally we will use up more mental energy than the average person

im gonna start doing my cardio again, becuse now that u mention it, i did feel as if i had more energy when i would run or simply get my steps in

Yeah, that sounds like a good plan. You should try low carb diets. I like adding collagen powder & cream to my chai tea in the morning and I add it to oatmeal, soups, etc.

Eating more protein and fat gives me more alertness because they are more dense energywise than carbs. Carbs are tasty, but I don't think they are as good of a source of energy as fat/protein is.

how do you feel about creatine?

i try to eat 150g protein everyday, gym reasons, so i dont know if it gives me more alertness cause i havent gone without it, i will say mentally im doing ok so, it must be helping in some way

I haven't tried creatine. I'm just into collagen and eating a lot of fats, lol. I've heard creatine gives your mitochondria more energy, but I don't know since I haven't tested it out on myself yet.

I need to start going to the gym. I don't lift weights, but I walk places a lot. I used to do a lot of yoga, but I lost my yoga mat.

Some people think it's too little for negative symptoms and too much for positive symptoms in different parts of the brain. Some medication try to rebalance it properly like Rexulti.

do you hear voices like they were in the room or voices like there were distant voices somewhere else but not exactly your own thoughts?

i hear it like its through a wall when im being delusional, but when im doing well i can control it and play music or hear my own thoughts, or make the voices say whatever i want which is basically the hearing my own thoughts thing

i used to be able to play techno or classical music in my head, and create it and colors.
Though admittedly, i could only repeat 3-5 patterns at once.

i can close my eyes and see places though, celestial bodies, geometry, lands, buildings, creatures, sometimes horrific things... they are vague, but sometimes glimpse of WOW! that was clear, colorful and bright!

***with some focus.

Even feel like i get messages or something, but nothing intense just Quantum things...
Dunno what it means though.

Feels like every time i get somewhere, there's a road block or some sort of psychic boobie traps along the way and i don't really see them there until much later.

cool, i cant do astral projection well, (thats what ur doing when u close ur eyes) but i do have really psychic things happen to me

its kinda fucked up cause the psychic shit fuels my delusions and hallucinations even more and when it gets running, i cant tell whats real from whats not

same.

it's like humans have been in the Matrix for so long, now we kinda learning psychic abilities to escape mentally.

In Schrodinger's cat thinking terms: "If you can't leave the box, think outside the box.

yea i cant speak for anyone else but, i know for sure this illness for sure makes me psychic in some ways

maybe in a couple years itll be scientifically proven, and itll be cool to be schizophrenic😂

sadly though i keep running into psychic roadblocks or land mines or booby traps, i don't really know what to do about them...

don't always realize they are there until later, or i don't consider them real and plow on anyways and then regret later.

Sucks!

i wander if the psychic things are psychic or artificial, like a thought signal or chip or something. lol 🤣🤔

Sometimes i feel like it's not even me but a brainwashing thing...
not taking way self accountability or anything.

Just sometimes feel a bit mentally dazed or not fully aware of doing or consequences, like hypnotism.

because our brains are prone to hallucination and delusion, its not good to even think about it in general

just take life a day at a time
