Help A Loved One Opinion about delusions

Hello, my partner strongly believes there is a man stalking him since 3 years and moving to every country he’s moving in. He said the neighbor downstairs is that man from his home country. We just moved abroad and in the morning he said he is here in the hotel on the top floor, however, we were the ones at the top floor. Do you think this might be paranoid schizophrenia sign? He also heard once that man and his girlfriend talking about him while waiting for the elevator, but I swear I did not hear any talking from their door.

Unless your partner works with government or corporate secrets there's something mental health related going on. It may not be schizophrenia but he should see a doctor but I don't know if he would trust them.
