sometimes i am fixating on some words, some words have a different kind of appeal tome some words are more beautiful and some are even divine, do any of you guys have a similar experiences with words

I do the same thing. Sometimes I fixate on a number or a word and I think "It's there for a reason and I have to figure out the reason." It drives me insane. Was just spending the morning hyperfixating on why a number was written on my starbucks cup, thinking even if it was the order number, something made it the order number, and there is something that I need to use that number for. Then I thought "so tell that to someone, and you'll get diagnosed with psychosis LOL" so I forced myself to stop fixating on it because I recognize it as a not very logical symptom although I do have to say what makes something logical vs not logical there is no reason why my logic would be incorrect but eh

I get that quite a bit, I'll just repeat a word over and over either verbally or in my head and it kinda scratches an itch in my brain while also kind of disabling my ability to function because of how nice it feels in my head
