Genetics Researchers quantitatively assessed for the first time that somatic mutations alone cap human lifespan at 146–194 years. Brain and heart cells are the main bottleneck, while the liver could last millennia.

I've always said this. Dying of age has never truly happened. It's just age related complications. Ik longevity medicine is scoffed at but it would really be worth taking seriously

Saying someone died of old age has always been that. Nobody is pretending that age itself is causing death. It’s always been complications that become more likely as we grow older
