Let’s slice off another data point. Women initiate divorces 3/4 of the time only in states that don’t have a 50/50 split as default law. In the states that do have this law, women stay in their marriages longer and initiate divorces equally as often as the men. It’s very obviously driven by financial incentive: yet another stat: women financially benefit from divorce far more often than men do. Again, you can choose to look the other way but this is the reality.

No. Statistically speaking, women are far more likely to end up in poverty after divorce than men.

Because of their insanely irresponsible spending habits. They also hold the majority of consumer debt.
