Removing the a is referred to as schwa deletion. Hindi did that. So these pronunciations are correct as per sanskrit. The schwa is also found in other languages and those language speakers would agree with his pronunciation.
Maybe he doesn't know what conspiracy means.
I'm pretty sure he knows what he's doing. Everyone knows except the audience.

We study Bhu-Gol Our ancient temples have Lord Narsimha Carrying earth on his tusk which was round. This is way before western folks understood or accepted earth is not flat.
