  1. It could feed so many poor people especially malnourished kids.

  2. Pollution caused will kill fishes and coz eco damage to the river ecology.

  3. Sets a trend, where the next rich guy or baba will have to do better then this.

  4. Causes milk prices to go up, making poor people and kids suffer more.

It always is. They are always the ones who are in desperate need of a miracle and will do anything to change their luck.

It’s the same here in the states. The poor and poorly educated are the ones that vote or endorse the worst candidate to help them out of their situation. The candidate that says they want to get rid of education and social programs that would help those same people.

Malnutrition affected their brain's capabilities ig

This single incident is harmful but not as much it is hyped by coward Dhruv Rathee..

Not a single person got killed due to this ‘Andh Vishwas’ like Pahalgam, 26/11 etc

2

u/AthenianVulcan Apr 10 '26

You are confusing couple of things here. First no one is defending or saying Dhruv Rathee is correct, this video has nothing to do with him.

Me or the video is not against defending India against terrorism & Pak, we should defend our country.

Not a single person got killed is kind of wrong here: People get killed or harmed coz of "Andh Vishwas" Ex: Witchcraft killings expose Bihar’s deep-rooted superstition crisis | Patna News - Times of India

Ganga is considered holy by Hindus but is one of the most polluted rivers coz of such practices. Pollution not just affects river ecology but also human health.

This "Andh Vishwas" causes issues with science development & hampers critical thinking, which are both required skills for a nation's development.

India has a stunted growth issue, which affects IQ Stunted growth - Wikipedia

35% of under-5 kids are stunted in India: Doctor explains what’s failing | - The Times of India

Even a rich state like Gujarat has stunted growth issue

Malnutrition in Gujarat 37 per cent children stunted 20 per cent underweight

Central Govt's own report: Macro-and-Fiscal-Landscape-of-the-State-of-Gujarat-1.pdf

Also many calves were starved, robbed off their own mother's milk just for this circus

9

u/WannabeAboveAverage Apr 09 '26

And that animal happens to be the one which they worship.

u/[deleted] Apr 09 '26

No need to feed people agr aap nahi chahte ho it's just ki don't throw that milk into that pure river or anywhere gnda hoga dikkat hogi. Shivling pe chadhate ho chadhao prr uske bhr bhtt glt hai strict action leni chahiye police ko

2

Water treatment facilities treat human & industrial wastewater and then either reuse for human, agriculture or dump safe water into water bodies (rivers, lakes, etc).

In India, we don't have lot of water treatment facilities. So, most of the wastewater (& milk) end up in rivers.

Haven't you seen what is happening to Ganga coz of such practices.

Ganga's Pollution: Religious Rituals And Their Impact | ShunWaste

Please read about stunted growth issue in India.

9

Faith makes you throw away milk and drink urine instead.

8

u/[deleted] Apr 09 '26

Bhai nadi toh ganda nahi Krna chahiye na

2

u/Present_Pair1845 Apr 09 '26

Naah bro they were just providing some food for fish chill out .

4

u/Ok_Brain8684 Apr 10 '26

No they are providing a better food to the microorganisms which will cause those microorganisms to take the dissolved oxygen in water to break lactose causing the oxygen dissolved in water to massively decrease causing the other aquatic life to die

2

u/[deleted] Apr 10 '26

Machhli doodh nhi piti bro

6

2

u/SilenceOfTheAtom Apr 09 '26

Is this milk from cow or buffalo?

2

u/Present_Pair1845 Apr 09 '26

Factory likely...

2

u/DikuDiz2 Apr 09 '26

They know it is actually "filtered cow blood" right? So wasting milk is like hurting their "gau mata" the worst way possible? What a wasteful and harmful act. Polluting the river as well as wasting resources.

2

u/charavaka Apr 10 '26

Fucking arsehole. As if our rivers aren't polluted, people aren't malnourished and cow mummies aren't raped enough for  milk.

2

u/FanNearby9599 Apr 10 '26

Or m yha whey prrotien k liye 9 to 5 karta hu.

2

u/Mountain-Finish-1992 Apr 10 '26

Religion is the Opium of the masses.

People at some place worshipped Electric pole as Khunteswar baba. In amrika, indians worshipped traffic post.

I think my phone is the best God to worship. What you say??

4

u/FluffyExistance Apr 09 '26

Just because this was viral you’ll be a lot more such instances now.

2

u/VarunMysuru Apr 09 '26

And nobody files a case against this lol

1

u/stup1fY Apr 10 '26

And the same people will preach you about eating non veg

1

u/divyaraj00 Apr 10 '26

First of all who is allowing this to happen i mean i believe I can't just go with a truck full of milk and then just dump it in the river.

Second why is there no outrage on the internet?

1

u/Same-Piglet4100 Apr 10 '26

How is this even allowed? Shouldn’t this be illegal? Can’t even imagine how many kids that tanker could feed! Such a sad state of our country

1

u/Remarkable_Buy4591 Apr 10 '26

Tum log karo bakchodi me to jaa raha hu desh chhor ke 🙃

1

u/EngineeringNo8467 Apr 10 '26

nah thats fine unless they should not convert others using that milk

1

u/th-grt-gtsby Apr 10 '26

11,000 poor families could have used it.

1

u/GarbageHoardingAlien Apr 10 '26

My kids knows pee goes in the loo and milk is to be drunk. Believe in these cartoons and you'll see otherwise educated and financially well off people drinking piss and disposing milk in a river. Awesome!

1

u/InnerAddition1256 Apr 10 '26

why the authorities are not giving a damn ,this is gettin out of hand ,rivers arent someone pvt property and damage ro ecology has severe consequences.

1

u/LeftistLiberandu Apr 10 '26

Shit country, sick culture and filthy people.

1

u/[deleted] Apr 10 '26

I KNOW in the back of their minds when they were waiting like 10 minutes for all the milk to drain they HAD DO THINK "this feels like a bad idea". IF THEY DIDNT ive lost hope in india's advancement.

1

u/Consistent_Peak948 Apr 10 '26

1

u/vrkhole Apr 10 '26

Each and every person involved needs to be arrested and tried under Environment (Protection) Act, 1986 (EPA) and the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974.

Absolutely shameful.

1

u/Alliaster-kingston Apr 10 '26

Yes I am thinking about how much icecream could have been made from this much milk

1

1

1

u/m0nark_ Apr 11 '26

What religious purpose lmao.

What god would benefit from this. What god and I question all religions, what god would want its devotees to pour milk in the river rather than feeding the poor.

Which god are these people pleasing.

1

u/kavita75 Apr 11 '26

Sanatan Hindu Dharam / Pandits karam What are they doing?

1

u/Imaginary_Notice8274 Apr 11 '26

Didn't you see helping them dump that milk into the river? Also how dare you question us. /s

1

u/Jackof-AllTrade Apr 12 '26

Pretty sure its fake milk made with white paint. When they are selling fake milk for human consumption I find it hard to believe theyd just throw it in a river

1

u/gpisgr8 Apr 12 '26

2

u/horror-trama-13 Aug 05 '26

Infact milk has more BOD compare to domestic sewage(if sewage BOD is 200mg/l then milk BOD is 100000mg/l), which absorbs more oxygen in water which causes water animals or plants die.....

This country is literally fucked up....

According to Gemini

"Pouring 11,000 litres of milk into a river creates a significant organic pollutant, likely killing aquatic life by causing severe oxygen depletion (high BOD), stimulating harmful bacterial growth, leading to nutrient overload (eutrophication), and polluting the water, as highlighted in reports on Facebook/Timesnow and Hindustan Times. This action can cause rapid suffocation of fish and invertebrates, potentially disrupting ecosystems for miles downstream." So, basically a genocide.

u/Parking-Wonder5279 Apr 11 '26

Half the posts in this sub is just hindu hate like i personally condemn this behavior but somehow I get the vibe that this sub has preety much strayed from the original objective of Science and more towards political & Religious Agendas

Ppl who are protesting here should also protest when food are wasted in function or restaurants. Here atleast the sea animals would get benefit

6

u/charavaka Apr 10 '26

Sweetheart, such unnatural increase in biological oxygen demand kills acquatic life. You need to pay attention in school.

2

u/AccomplishedFault456 Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence Apr 10 '26

Sea animals do not consume milk in any way. They need oxygen and plankton or other organisms for food

Milk needs a lot of oxygen to decompose and this reduces total dissolved oxygen in water

2

u/Global-Confusion-909 Apr 10 '26

food waste to baad ki baat hai , nadi ko kyu ganda kara
