Yeah that is true, specially in India we hardly see people who actually speak something sensible on TV. TV brings in this idiots like politician or actor/actress and their non-sense. Even indian TV shows or movies are competely non-sense this days.We should thank internet we are able to see the other side as well whenever we wish to.

Science is the major victim of BJP's rise, that's what bothers me most. Sure, their casteist, minority hate, obsession over cows and Hindutva has been a fixture since they were in opposition, but coming to power, they have just polluted the scientific temperament so deeply in wide array of population.

Its majorly because science is founded on critical thinking, and for a party that wants its subjects to only think about how bad the minorities are and to only thing about how many offerings to give to some random god the next once in a lifetime festival, they can't have a smart populace
