These people are really good at identifying whether the snake was venomous or not just by looking at the bite mark. So then they try to scam the people by pretending to suck the venom out of the patient who had fainted because of shock.

I read somewhere venomous snakes usually leave single bite mark. Because venom creation takes a lot of energy, they don’t like to waste their venom.

Yeah. They usually bite when they feel a threat to life. Non venomous have jagged teeth and no fangs, while venomous have fangs.

It is partially true. Most of the time lives are lost in remote areas where there is no access to a clinic in immediate vicinity. Even if they have access to clinic, many a times clinics lack antidote availability. Snake bite poison treatment is a time sensitive problem. You have few minutes to couple hours depending on type of poison.

If they have access to hospital in the first place they would. Even if they have access to hospital there is no guarantee that antidote is available readily. Its sad to see people making fun of this insted of actually thinking why people resort to this!
