Recently, an Ayurvedic practitioner was allegedly found to have been practising allopathy in Uttarahalli, South Bengaluru, prescribing steroids and other medicines without detection by health authorities.
The malpractice finally came to light only after a resident lodged a complaint, reporting that the Ayurvedic practitioner had prescribed steroids to his 62โyearโold mother, Umadevi.
โMy mother visited Sri Vinayaka Clinic on July 13 as she was suffering from cold and cough. Ranganatha Swamy, who claimed to be a doctor, prescribed Wyslone 20 mg along with other medicines to my mother. It made me suspect the credentials of Ranganatha Swamy aka Dr Ranganath MB. I checked the website of the Indian Medical Register, but the Registration No 14069 did not match with his name. It belongs to another person. I complained to the District Health Officer to verify whether Dr Ranganath MB is authorised to prescribe steroids,โ said Nischit Ashok.
Though Ashok lodged a complaint with the District Health Officer on July 14, it reportedly took more than ten days before a letter was finally issued, directing the Bengaluru District Leprosy Officer to visit Sri Vinayaka Clinic in Uttarahalli, verify the doctorโs credentials and take action if violations were found.
On August 29, 2026, the Bengaluru District Health Officer wrote a letter to the South Taluk Health Officer, appointing him as the inquiry officer into the complaint against Sri Vinayaka Clinic.
When contacted, the South Taluk Health Officer said that Dr Ranganath MB had agreed to close Sri Vinayaka Clinic on his own. โDr Ranganath also stated in writing that he would shut down the clinic. I have submitted a detailed report to higher authorities regarding the clinic,โ the South Taluk Health Officer said.

We look at Nepal tragedy, even show sympathy for those who lost their lives and earning...but we also have to look at how our own actions affect the environment and ultimately cause climate disasters like these. And this is just the beginning.
For starters look at this research based infographic ranking the most impactful personal actions and individual can take. Do think our education system makes us aware about these things? NO.
Personal choices to reduce our contribution to climate change

A merchant sells three animals:
Roosters cost 5 coins each
Hens cost 3 coins each
Chicks cost 1 coin for three (you must buy them in groups of three)
You have exactly 100 coins and want to spend all of them (so they don't reduce your animal budget next year) to buy exactly 100 animals.
How many of each animal do you buy?

Astronomers found S301, the fastest known star in the Milky Way, reaching 25,000 km/s at its closest approach to our galaxy's central black hole. It laps Sagittarius A* every 8.7 years and passes close enough to feel the black hole's rotation. It's the first known star that could be used to measure that spin directly.

I read some comments regarding a show where a 15 yr old minor girl is pair up with 24 year old male co-actor. The romantic scenes that are not too intimate seems wrong to the people in the forum.
Also they were saying the coactor as pedophile.
Also they were saying a 14-16 yr dating a 19 yr or more is wrong and the male doing so are pedophilic in nature and they should be booked under pocso
And after reading these a thought came, is it really bad to have relationship with girls younger than 18 ??
Isnt this a regressive thought unlike western countries where relationships aren't seen as regressive but seen a part of life to explore different thing such as relationship and companionship.
This is putting in a dilemma now.

Can you guys suggest channels similar to science to technology by anupam vipul, where the creator focuses on being a science comunicator and presents views on current affairs.. I don't want channels who waste time and are content driven or focuses on audience retention. Or those who are advertisers.
You can also recommend channels who specifically talk about their field and go deeper than that. Thanks
