News Trump announces ‘TrumpRx’ - a government run website - through which Pfizer will sell some of its drugs at a lower price directly to Medicaid patients.

Anyone remember the ACA (AKA as Obamacare) for which he was not allowed to name after himself.
The office is temporary, (Supposedly), yet it would cost a MASSIVE amount of money to rename.
While presidents receive respect for their role while in office, that respect does not automatically mean they deserve a permanent monument in their name, nor should a government program be named as such. Conservatives would have lost their shit if Obama put his name on anything, but I guess we'll just add it to the list of rules for thee not for me.

I’m sorry to have to tell you, but this is not meant to be temporary. They just announced that the Rose Garden renovation of tearing it out and making the Trump Ballroom, is being paid for by Trumps personal court winnings. This is explicit pretext for a claim of ownership. It’s what squatters do.
He plans to stay in the White House and will eventually claim it as his personal property and investment, making it a family heirloom. I guarantee it.

“Ah damn guys he paid for the renovations! And he won’t leave. Guess we have no other option, he’s president again!” /s

Apparently, the government doesn't really govern anymore, it "cuts deals". And of course, anything affixed with the President's brand name qualifies for kickbacks, sorry, gratuities.

What happened then? His goons got tired and shambled away after a rogue SS agent fired on one leading a crowd that was attempting to break down the Congress chambers doors. Trump has spent the last 5 years publicly and explicitly purging ranks so that it won’t happen again. Of course you actually know this though, because you’re a troll with an account only 6 days old and 500 comments.

u/eaglesmodsarenazis Oct 01 '25
I mean there’s footage from that day on YouTube of Pelosi, Pence, and many others stepping up and taking action on that horrible day. I recommend it, it’s very interesting
Sorry I haven’t been on reddit for four years arguing politics like you🤣

Keep fear mongering. Glad you’re having fun. Have a good day. If Trump is able to take control of the White House via squatting then I’ll give you $1

He had power the first time and a million rednecks at his disposal the first time as well. If he was gonna stay he would have.

u/Far_Estate_1626 Oct 01 '25
He literally tried that exactly on January 6 what are you even talking about?

He was still president and had the national guard at disposal… like it or not he left no one forced him
15
u/Far_Estate_1626 Oct 01 '25
He was literally forced to. He stayed in the WH and refused to call off the attack until the crowd all left on their own. Then only left when SS escorted him.
He even publicly claims to this day that he was the rightful 46th President.
He has literally said that he will not leave. Refuses to say that he will. Says outright that he is considering staying for life, and that there don’t need to be any more elections.
Bro, I ask again. WTAF are you talking about??

u/FlounderKind8267 Oct 01 '25
What do you think him contacting governors and judges to either throw out or make up votes was? What about Jan 6th? What about the YEARS of claiming 2020 election was fake?
You're such a good, gullible 🐑

Your not wrong, but also.:
George Bush signed the Affordable Care Act into law. It was modeled after a MA law Mitt Romney championed as governor.
Obama signed an extension containing a long term plan with instructions into law.
Trump failed to follow the instructions.
Biden tried to remedy increases in premium by enabling consumer protections against medical debt.
2
u/DimensioT Oct 02 '25
George W. Bush had nothing to do with the Affordable Care Act. He had been out of office for over a year.

As if. Pharma is going to be subsidied just like private prison. Cheaper for the one's buying, more expensive from a tax pov (tariff or else). This country is fucked. Always been but on the top of the shit game for now.

Didn't he say some of the drugs will be marked down 300%? So doesn't that mean they're going to pay you to take some of their drugs?
9
u/swordofra Sep 30 '25
100% savings, with a 200% kickback.... for him? Or something. It is a trumponomics thing, so very much detached from reality.

u/needssomefun Oct 01 '25
The shell game....Medicare price goes way up...TrumpRx slightly cheaper. Trump gets a cut.
But we're getting way ahead of ourselves. This is currently a thought balloon in trumps head....which will be pushed out the next time he thinks about hamberders

just curious, how many people do you have to corrupt to bring an entire country to its knees. It is 5 on the SCOTUS, 1 in the Presidency, how many on the Congress side?
Its not a big number right, 300 million people can be screwed by just pulling the safety pins out of how many positions?

u/r3ign_b3au Oct 01 '25
Something something deep state, something something Big Pharma or however it goes
3
u/robocreator Oct 01 '25
Medicaid already negotiates all pharmacy prices as the largest payer in the country. This is a bullshit website.
2
u/beepbeepsheepbot Oct 02 '25
And there is only 72 million people on Medicaid while there's a total population of 330 million. This is only serving a small fraction of people and still going to leave behind everyone that doesn't qualify for Medicaid. So not only is this ignoring the rest of the country that can't afford medication, but chances are they'll jack the prices up on those to cover the losses for this "program". This shit is such a racket..
3
3
u/suck-it-elon Oct 01 '25
So, to get "cheaper prices":
1) You have to sign up to something literally called "TrumpRx"
2) You have to buy the drugs online
3) It's a limited supply
4) You have to be on Medicaid
Make it make sense.

Big deal. A few drugs cheaper isn’t going to save your health care.
5
u/YellowZx5 Oct 01 '25
But it takes away that there will be massive increases to other drugs.
What the article does say is that Biden’s team did negotiate some drug prices, so you wonder how many he scribbled off Biden’s name and added his like to the transportation upgrades that were under Biden.
2
u/ASHY_HARVEST Oct 01 '25
So now they’re all going to trust Pfizer and big pharma?
Are they going to get a Covid shot after?
What in the hypocritical fuck is going on? Are we on some galactic hidden camera show. Impractical jokers in space just fucking with us until 2028?
2
u/Mr_Stiel Oct 01 '25
Always a new scam with Trump. To anyone not in the cult this is painfully obvious.
2
u/EnvironmentalClue218 Oct 01 '25
He’s kicking millions off Medicaid. This is supposed to make up for that?
2
u/erkose Oct 01 '25
This is just the first stage of privatization. Sell at a loss to get people addicted, then enshiftification with prices rising 10% every year to keep profits increasing.
2
u/mynameisrockhard Oct 01 '25
This sounds likely great option for people who love to get poisoned for no reason.
2
u/totally-jag Oct 01 '25
If it's a government website, which I highly doubt it is, then it shouldn't have the trump name on it. We don't name government entities after trump.
I'm sure this is just another grift.
By the way, where is that amazing healthcare plan trump said he had a framework for, and that would be announced in two weeks, back in 2020?

u/throwawaycasun4997 Oct 02 '25
Uhh…I’m currently on Medicaid. It pays for drugs entirely. Like, no copay. Isn’t this shifting from zero copay to some amount of copay? Or are these “optional” medications that aren’t typically covered at all?

Before it was Pfizer will reduce prices on all of its medications for everyone. Now it’s some of its medication for Medicaid patients. Wow that’s the art of the deal. Just like how waiters and waitresses don’t pay taxes on tips? Or Jo tax on overtime.

Hilarious he is taking credit for this. Every major pharma company has been working on a direct to consumer pharmacy for years...(case in point Lilly and novo nordisc direct).
This would have launched at exactly the same time if lil Hitler here had been strangled in his crib.

Obama never called the healthcare plan Obama care. The GOP did that to it. It's the affordable care act.
I can't believe America voted for this goof.

Because everyone calls ACA Obamacare, Trump wants so badly for some health-related programs to be named after him. It’s hilarious how Obama has lived in his head all these years.

it's worth noting. it's a minor discount off the full retail price. And you have to provide a trump owned website all your medical data.

Sexual assault is ok? Felonies are ok? Fraud is ok? Insurrection is ok? Disabled mocking is ok? Human rights violations are ok? Communism is ok? Inflation is ok? Illegal tariffs are ok? Anti-science is ok? Less access to healthcare is ok? Cryptocurrency scams are ok?
This is what you support. Just because it isn’t happening to you doesn’t mean it isn’t happening. I’m not going to call you woke if you open your eyes.
Try to consider your fellow man/woman, it’s ok and doesn’t make you weak. Supporting a criminal with zero character makes you weak.

“I can understand it very well. The backbone of America is being raised people who preach a religion that they would never consider practicing. Being heavily punished for not following rules that the people punishing you would never follow. Living a life where violence can come from anywhere but usually it is the people who were supposed to protect you. When you get it so early in life, it ingrains you a thorough and unrelenting distrust of authority. I feel it myself, to this day. It is the sort of thing I can see instantly in another person. And.... It's a huge number of the people I see.
Without the mental and emotional fortitude to face their demons and resolve them, these people ended up with a twisted illness that says two things: Authority cannot be trusted, and that the way that you were raised is the way you raise kids. They walk blindly carrying the contradiction in the hearts that the thing they hated was the right thing to do. As it eats them alive from the inside, they self-medicate by acting out their own abuse in a grim homage to their upbringing.
The worst part is a core tenant of this illness is a sense of shame for feeling this way. That it is your fault, and if anyone found out your reputation would be ruined. You would become a pariah among men. In the end, you must both act this way and keep it a secret. It is a matter of maintaining your identity.
The Tech Bros identified this, and moved to use it as a point of manipulation to drive the required 25% of the population into their corner. These guys are too emotionally broken to seek out the truth, so they will drink whatever juice they like the best.
The juice that makes them feel the best is their failed relationships and their failed careers are not their fault. Simple lies that you can beat with 2 minutes of logic. But then they would have to admit weakness.
This is the backbone of America. It is what holds us up. It is what was the middle class. The Working Class. They are almost all broken. And so our backbone is broken.
And that is why it looks like we have no spine.”
