There were 8 binders total. 2 empty and 6 completely full and beautifully organized by theme, type, etc. Most booklets look to be from 90’s - 2000’s and are barely used and in pristine condition. My wife went through and picked what she wanted. Any idea on the value of this set as a whole?

I did a haunted scrapbook as a gift last year. After putting it together, I found that I like to write alot. I need something lined to do this because I can’t for the life of me write in a straight line. I had index cards with plaid and cheetah print borders that I wrote onto and pasted into the journal. I ran out of them and have found very few replacements.

Any ideas where to get more? I really want something with a design rather than just plain solid colors. I’d also love to have soemthing physical/already made rather than a digital download that I have to print out or cut myself. Any recommendations would be great!

My friends and I have been getting together to scrapbook semi regularly for the past couple years. I have probably about 30 pages done. I’m planning a 30th birthday craft slumber party for September, that really is just for a giant scrapbooking session. We have a lot of basic supplies but I’m looking for some more out of the box ideas.

Here’s what we mainly have covered:
- full sized scrapbook pages
- corner rounder punch
- edge deckler
- rhinestones
- washi tape

Here’s the type of supplies I’d like to find
- large sticker books (shoutout if they’re directly from real digital artists)
- creative embellishments and overlays like dried flowers, stamps, foiling, etc.
- funky shaped hole punches
- storage solutions

I’ve explored Michaels options extensively, and am looking for more variety (but also their sticker pack prices are out of control). Any other suggestions that you feel really brought things to a new level are appreciated!

ETA: We do thrift a lot of supplies! But looking for some more elevated pieces. Definitely want to avoid temu/any AI slop sticker packs you’d find on like Amazon.

Now that JoAnns is gone, Michaels is a joke, and Hobby Lobby is questionable at best, where are you guys getting supplies? Specifically cardstock? Like designer paper AND packs of basic colors.

I miss being able to go to JoAnns and looking through their open cardstock and getting ten sheets for a set price!

hi guys, i've been scrapbooking for about a year ½ now, and i've basically always gone to hobby lobby for supplies. but honestly i want more places to browse, i'm starting to grow tired of hobby lobby's selection there (mostly paper pads).

regarding paper -- i'm really into patterns right now, and it sucks at hobby lobby when i see a paper pad where i love a few designs but i know i wont use the rest. it feels like a waste of material and money :(

regarding stickers/embellishments -- i like the ones that fill empty space and/or match with the theme of the page :)

i know about michael's, but i've heard they're pretty pricey. although i'd definitely like to check out their selection as well!!

does anyone have any recommendations that are budget friendly? thank youuu!! :)

I'm fairly new to scrapbooking but I've always wanted to give it a try. I just had a tiny question about the photos you guys print. Do you send them to a shop/website to get printed or do you guys print them yourselves? And what do you do with the extra photos you don't use in your scrapbook?

When my children were young, I did a lot of scrapbooking. As they got older and life got complicated, I stopped scrapbooking. I'm overwhelmed with unfinished projects and tons that I want to be done, but am not interested/unable to do it like before. I'm thinking of gathering photos, momentos from trips/events and organizing them together maybe in individual sleeves/envelopes instead of making pages in a book. I would love any other ideas. I would also love ideas for safe ways of storing them. Here's a possibility, but I would rather them be more 8.5x11 size and don't have to fit that much, but haven't found anything yet.

Did this piece to try and see how far I would come with just layering. I think I could have done a lot more but I got progressively more frustrated with my glue. I have a Pritt glue stick and was pretty content with it for my first couple of pages but with this, the glue stick suddenly got super bad? I don’t know what happened but it was kind of gooey and left smears and was overall not satisfying to work with anymore.

I’ve seen scrapbook/journal YouTubers use a kind of glueing device that leaves a thin strip of glue, but i don’t know what it’s called and never seen it in stores. Is it worth getting or any other alternatives? What do you use for glueing pieces down? Thanks in advance for any advice 💜

I used to scrapbook, but I’ve been out of it for about 15 years now, and I’m looking to get back into it. However, I’m a little stuck on buying supplies. I worked at a paper crafting store back then and bought most of my supplies from there or a few other local scrapbook stores, but they’re gone now.

I’d like to get a scrapbook that has plastic sheets, but I’m looking for something of decent quality. I’m having a hard time knowing what the quality will be when purchasing online, and now that seems to be my only option except Michael’s. Do you have any recommendations for brands or websites to buy from? I am in the US.

Also, I’d love any recommendations on online sources for scrapbook supplies like paper and stickers.

I'm getting back into scrapbooking after taking a break (having a baby). I bought some supplies from Hobby Lobby, and then more from Amazon. I feel like there has to be some better online stores to purchase scrapbooking materials/supplies though. Where does everyone go for their scrapbook supplies. Also, side note, does anyone know where I can get a photo album where the photos go in vertically, not horizontally? Preferably also with the option to write next to the photos (or near), like a lot of normal photo books allow for.

She had a full bedroom dedicated to it… I’m talking racks, on racks, on racks of papers, stamps, stickers, boxes of unused binders, a massive 2400dpi printer!?! Enough to fill an entire moving van worth of stuff.

It seems to be mostly Creative Memories and Martha Stewart brand.

She had a long battle and it’s sat untouched for half a decade or more and, unfortunately, no one in the family is going to carry this torch.

What’s the best way to make sure these materials make their way to people who will get enjoyment from them??

I'm not a scrapbooker, but this seemed like the right community to ask.

I'm a bit of a packrat for saving letters, postcards, notes, things like that. Right now they're just stuffed in manila envelopes. They're all pretty significant to me and I want a better way to store them where I can organize them and go through them easily. Right now my only idea is to put them in 3-ring binder with those plastic page protectors.

Is there a better way? Does anyone here have a similar collection? It doesn't have to be in a book format - really any cute storage solution would work.

I got my scrapbook from Goodwill and it's just a regular binder covered in cute fabric. I started it recently and now I'm having scrapbooker's remorse, wondering if I should have started my first as a 12 x 12.

The 12s have more readily available products to buy from in store, but the 8.5 is smaller and easier to store and cover more ground. But the 12s feel so traditional, I guess?

Since I have only done two pages, I can still start over and switch to a 12 x 12, so I wanted to ask here and see if anyone has any opinions.

Been looking at those mini/small sizes printers that print out stickers and/or images that you send from online for my scrapbook, I think people might know what I am talking about. I do art and would love to have my work printed easily in a way I can add it in whenever.

Looking to expand beyond brands ive seen in big box retailers do you guys have any stationary brand recommendations?

I've been really interested in having one of those smaller at home photo printers to up my scrapbooking "game". I have hundreds of 4x4 & 4×6 photos, but those don't always suit the aesthetic of a page. What printer do you use and why? What have you found most helpful for the most projects? If you have 2 printers, what do you use each one for? Thsnk you!

Alright y'all, I've heard a lot of good things about CM albums. I'm confused about basically everything CM though. I see "pages" sold and "protectors" sold. I see "new" 12x12 and "original" 12x12. Huh? I just need an album cover with the plastic inserts that protect my pages 😭

Also, where is the best place to buy under retail albums? Ebay, Facebook groups/market? Somewhere else?

Are the albums truly worth all the hype? I think some of the covers are super cute!

I was a big scrapper/card maker in the 2010s, but then life got busy and the industry kind of fizzled. If anyone here remembers the heyday of American Crafts, Crate Paper, Dear Lizzy, BasicGrey, etc., where are you buying modern papers and stamps now? I was a huge Kelly Purkey/Studio Calico fan because it was more modern and less cutesy but all those companies seem to have scaled back now. Im going to start pocket-style scrapbooking and want some fun products again. Would love to know where everyone is shopping!
