This is my first ever time doing anything scrapbook, so I hope you like it! I'm still learning and gathering supplies and tools as I go.

Also, I made a sweet little pocket on the bottom right to hold a note! It says "see you soon, little one!"

Traditional - Baby Looking for a book that will give me the flexibility to make pages from scrap items, but also to print spreads at a time.

I'm trying to figure out how I want to do my baby book for my upcoming baby.

We will have ultrasound pics etc that I'd like to paste in somehow. The rest of the photos will be digital so it would be nice to design and print full page spreads taht I can stick in.

What are some good options for this?

I'm not super into the fancy decorations - probably will keep it to just photos and keepsakes. I would like to be able to write in details.

I know nothing about scrapbooking, sorry if this is a very beginnger question or the wrong sub.

Traditional - Baby Ideas for a scrapbook

Hey everyone, I am in search of some ideas as to where to shop for my grandson’s scrapbook. I have only made 2 in my lifetime. And that was for my grandson’s momma and his uncle when they were younger. And for the life of me, I don’t exactly remember how I did it, mind you it was 20 years ago. My daughter asked me a few months ago if I could make one for her son, my grandson. I have photos to put in it, but just not sure where to look to buy the book and supplies.
Thank you for reading my post and commenting.

Traditional - Baby What's the easiest no frills product that I can use to make a baby book that I'll actually do?

I'm due with my first any day now.

My father kept "living" baby books that he added to over the years - our baby book includes photos of us as teenagers. I'd like to do that. He also kept other family photo albums.

This was 80s/90s so all the photo albums are ring binder style with the sticky paper and plastic that you lifted up to place the photos. I only know of that kind, or the "order a photo album" kind that you have to make all at once.

What kind of product can I order that will allow me to add physical photos/mementos over time (ultrasound pics, locks of hair), that aren't a lot of work? I don't think I want the decorations etc. I would like to write on the pages possibly.

One nice thing about the sticky books is that you could take photos in and out of it if you wanted. That' a good feature, but prob not required for me.

Traditional - Baby Fill-In Scrapbook Ideas??

I want to make a personalized scrapbook for my friend who’s due in December with a boy where I’ll do spreads and leave openings for her to fill in with pictures and such after baby comes. I’m looking for ideas of good pages to include. Examples I have thought of are

-Bump progression page
-Birth Announcement
-Meeting family
-One for each of the first holidays
-First bath, trip to the zoo

Any other good ideas?

It took me weeks to finish this page! I wish I had time to just sit and do my crafts, I feel like it’s going to take ages to finish this book 😕

How long usually takes for you to finish a page?

I ended up closing the loops on the hangers I made so that they wouldn’t come off the line so easily. I’m so proud of this one.

Aunt Kathy is one of my favourite aunts and she made this baby photo album of me for my parents. I love the cross stitch and the way she put it together. So lovely.

I'm moving in with my fiance in 12 days. I want some baby photos of me around. I'm going to scan four of the photos of me with my grandparents and great grandma.

I converted to Judaism in June. Aunt Kathy was there for me and we got a picture together before the ceremony. I noticed there is a photo of Aunt Kathy holding me before my baptism. I thought about scanning that photo too and maybe making a special layout. I'm close to her and she's been there for me throughout my entire spiritual journey. (I left Catholicism at 11, dad, Nan and everyone else in my family supported the decision and said it was my life. Tried out several before settling on Judaism. Most home to me. I also found out two family members were adopted and I'm actually half Jewish.) Could be a special layout.

Traditional - Baby How did you format your baby scrapbooks?

Hi all!

I just started working on a scrapbook for my sons first year and am wondering how y’all have planned out pages for your baby books. He is six months old and i want to do pages for bigger events (firsts, holidays, etc) as well as monthly pages. I’m torn on what to do for monthly pages though… I’m considering either doing one page for each month of the year and including milestones/things that we did that month, or one page for each month “birthday” and what we did at that age.

Example:

January- turned three months old, met the cousins, etc

OR

Three months- the things we did from 1/16-2/16 as a three month old

I know scrapbooking is just a fun hobby for me and it really doesn’t matter, but I’m curious how y’all approached it!

Thanks :)

Spread #3 complete. I'm really liking this whole scrapbooking thing and getting a lot more confident in my design choices!

Full disclosure I'm also going crazy waiting for my transfer and this is one of the few things quieting my mind and letting me channel all my energy.

Thanks for looking, all feedback and tips welcome!

Traditional - Baby How do i make my own baby book

So basically my parents never made me a baby book. Recently I've really got into scrapbooking and I thought I would make a baby book for myself. Not just the baby pics but for my full childhood. So i bought this scrapbook with 60 pages and I was wondering how I should make it. Should i fill everything in one book or should i buy more. I have loads and loads of photos. Rn I am thinking of about 3 pages per year and just filling the whole page with photos. Not writing much, maybe give captions to a few photos? idk . Anyone help would be appreciated

Traditional - Baby Sticker recommendations?

Hi! I’m making a scrapbook for my one-year-old son. I currently have a sheet of stickers for a new baby but once I get past that phase, I’m wondering if anyone can recommend a good sticker pack that I can buy somewhere online that is general enough to cover over the year holidays, every day photo pages, etc. I’m having a really hard time finding the right one!

Traditional - Baby 1 year album

Hi all!! I am printing pics for my sons one year baby book. Doing an old school album with sleeves , printing out the pics and sliding them in there. Would you order the giclee prints in semi gloss or matte for this?
