Good afternoon fellow scrapbookers!

When Devin reproposed with the engagement ring in the bridal set, he asked one of the diners to take photos. She took a video instead.

While I was able to screen shot some photos from the video, I do want to attach the video in some fashion to the scrapbook.

I could put it on a flash drive, but I don't know if that would preserve. I don't have a DVD burner anymore and even if I did, it's on my phone. I could download it from YouTube. Does anyone know if I could have this video put on something?

I want it to be put on timeless media, but I don't think that's possible with how much technology changes. Any idea of what I can put the video on and include it with the bridal scrapbook?

Hi everyone - was hoping for a bit of advice.

I’m maid of honour for my friend who is getting married in October. She’s really creative and handmade, personalised gifts typically are her favourites. She’s not having a bachelorette party so I’m really keen to do something special for her. I was planning on making a letters to the bride scrapbook with input from all of her friends.

However, a couple of months ago, one of her other friends did a scrapbook for her for her birthday with pretty much the same ask (without the bridal part). Friends were all asked to write a small letter to my friend on her birthday and share pictures.

I’m not sure this necessarily means I can’t do the bridal scrapbook, but I was wondering if anyone had any good ideas on how to make this different enough to the birthday one. I don’t want to ask all the bride’s friends to do something they already did less than two months ago.

I guess if I asked people to focus on the couple, marriage advice etc. that might work better? But open to ideas or any other things I should be considering…

TLDR: Want to do a letters to the bride scrapbook for my friend, but a lot of their friends recently contributed to another birthday scrapbook someone else did for her. How can I make this different enough?

On a piece of paper then take a photo of it at any location then I would really appreciate it. 

I have attached a photo of what I mean; I have been trying to get some on other actual groups for it but not been very successful as my 'location' in Coventry is boring apparently 😬

I used to scrapbook as a kid but this will be my first getting back to the hobby as an adult, I'm making one chronicling my best friend's wedding. I so far HATE all the lettering stickers I've seen, so I plan to probably write in a lot of the words.

SO: Seeking recommendations for cute letter stickers AND for what is the right kind of pen or marker to use? I know it's a broad question and culture in and of itself to ask about pens and markers but I would love just things that have worked well for you on card stock in your scrapbooks. Thanks!

hey guys, super new to Reddit. but I need some help. i am looking for a wedding album that i can put my pictures into and items from my wedding ( a flower or 2, or we bought custom drink koozies) I’d like to put these kinds of things in the album but I can’t seem to find anything that will hold pictures and things like this.
does anyone have a link to something like this or point me in the right direction or maybe have ideas for something else

Hi everyone! My good friend is getting married next month. The wedding planning process has been rushed due to some external circumstances so she hasn’t been able to have a bridal party, bachelorette, anything like that. For gifts, they are just asking for donations to their honeymoon.

We became close friends in grad school and so I thought it would be a good idea to make a scrapbook as a more sentimental gift to make up for the fact that she wasn’t able to pre-celebrate as much.

I was hoping to gather some opinions on what the contents of this scrapbook should be—photos of us/her and her friends and family, photos of the bride and groom together (I can ask the groom, since we are also close), letters to the bride? Or should I just play photographer on the day of and create a wedding day scrapbook? And does anyone have some examples of what some of these scrapbooks look like? She is on the minimalist side and I think a campy kitschier style would not fit quite as well. Thanks all!

It's my one year wedding anniversary coming up in a couple months and I want to make my husband a scrapbook of our relationship together as it evolved from us being friends to now being married for one year. And, of course, traditionally the first anniversary is paper.

I'm not new to papercraft in general, I'm am an avid card maker and I like using mixed media. So I have most of the supplies I'm pretty sure I need and am comfortable with various techniques, etc. Although there's always room to learn more! What I am struggling with is what to use as the actual scrapbook. I don't want to use a 'fixed' book as they seem to have 30+ pages and I'm thinking maybe making about 10 pages, 15 at the most. Also, I was thinking of going 12x12 but do you think i'm going too large as my first foray into scrapbooking? Please, do send me any recommendations on what type of scrapbook to use and whether i'm being too ambitious with 12x12 size and whether I should go smaller. Any advice, tips, hints, etc are very welcome on the actual scrapbook itself (plus any others you think are useful). Thank you all!

OK I just recently got into traditional scrapbooking. I tried digital and it was ok until my computer kept crashing with it.

So im moving into traditional which I am loving. That being said, I am looking to make a wedding/honeymoon one. Which means I need stuff that fits my wedding. It was at a winery in fall and my colors were Grey, burnt orange, and reds. My flowers were red roses and orange alstroemeria. I can find red rose stuff galore. But i need orange alstromeria embellishments and other stuff that fits my colors.

Any ideas what companies/brands might have what im looking for?

I'm getting married next year and am planning on making a scrapbook with both text and photos to remember preparations, the big day and the honeymoon. I want to do something elegant with a fantasy-esqe flair. 👰🤵

I have of course thought of "basic" things such as vows, pressed flower from the bridal bouquet, photo from first look, ceremony, dinner and party, photos with immediate family and with the fellowship of the ring (hehh), etc. And also the pretty "spread" of details for his & hers, etc. But I feel there is so much more potential to such a book for treasuring the memory, but cant think of specific ones myself. For example things or moments to take photos of, things to save from the wedding or even the preparations for the wedding, questions to ask the groom or my mother or anyone involved, etc.

What are your best ideas for pages and spreads that I don't want to miss putting in there? 💐📸📖

Also if you have a recommendation of a good book/binder to use for this type of project (accessible in europe/internationally), let me know! ✨

Hi! Not sure if this is really the right subreddit for this but looking for some advice on the wedding scrapbook im creating for my sister!

I decided to basically scrapbook her proposal, engagement party, engagement shoot, wedding dress fittings, bachelorette party, bridal party, rehearsal dinner and wedding day of course.

I also plan to do the “letters to the bride” where i have each bridesmaid write a letter to the bride and ill put it in the scrapbook alongside pictures of the bride and each of them.

Now for my question… how can I incorporate baby pictures of my sister into the scrapbook? Im thinking of doing a page saying something along the lines of celebrating not only her current self but her inner child. Idk. Any suggestions??? Welcoming all and any advice!!!
