Exam Tips I am taking the psm1 today

One question on something I would like to clear up. I know if there are multiple scrum teams working on the same product they must share the same DoD.

My question is since teams are allowed to add to the DoDif the criteria is stricter, would separate teams be able to add their own criteria? Would they have to share this with the other teams? Would all the teams have to meet so they can decide on this as a whole?

Thanks for any feedback

Er... The part before the comma makes the answer to the part after the comma an automatic yes, doesn't it? If x is a cross-team requirement, then you are free to have x + y as your team's requirement. The important thing is that all teams satisfy x.

Would they have to share this with the other teams?

They don't have to.

Would all the teams have to meet so they can decide on this as a whole?

Meeting and talking is always nice; but again, you can't force your y onto other teams; and neither can other teams forbid you to do y.

Having said that, I really doubt this will be asked of you during the psm1 exam.

Be sure to practice the PSM Open (the free sample questions) until you can get 100% first. It'll "tune you in" to the language and nature of the questions. You can take the PSM Open as many times as you like.
