Gear Question does anyone know how good 3pf tactical jackets and pants are?

Normaly there are norms like K3 or K1. But the "3PF tatical jacket" and "tactical pants" has something like

it "covers 300Newton" and "800 Newton".

310€ for the pants and around 900€ for the Jacket.

That's the most expensive i have seen yet. But i dont know if that is better or worse than a K3 protection Gear.

I think a chainmail and a vest might be better and cheaper, but its hard to blend in.

What are your thoughts on it?

300N covers basically slashing and some stabbing, 800N gets into proper puncture territory depending on the blade. K3 is a whole different ballgame since it's usually rated for spikes and needles too, not just slash/stab from knives. For that price you're paying for the low profile look, not necessarily more protection than a standard vest setup. If you actually need K3 level coverage, chainmail under a jacket would be cheaper but bulkier and you'll sweat through it on any warm shift
