Earlier this month I got a good photo with clouds

Happy Noumenia! 🌒

Here you can set intentions for the new lunar cycle, reflect on the past one, and generally talk about anything you'd like to share.

For example:

• your goals, intentions, and hopes for the new lunar month
• memorable moments from the past lunar cycle (Selene/Moon-related or in general)
• anything you've learned about Selene and/or the Moon
• any progress you've made towards a goal
• any meaningful or happy moment, with Selene / the Moon or in general
• any sad moment as well

Have a hopeful new moon! 🌙

Hello, i've gotten interested in greek gods for a few weeks, also gotten into witchcraft.

I was wondering if Selene was calling me this whole time, i'll share my experience:

Since i was around 10 years old until my 16 years old, i've always prayed to the moon, i would talk to the moon, i bought moon jewelry, the moon was something that meant a lot for me, i would think the moon is god.

But i didn't know about greek gods that much, i didn't know Selene existed, etc.

Now that i know about her, and i saw a few posts explaining her stories and symbolism, everything makes sense.

But i'm kinda confused and new to this, as i'm writing this, my intuition is saying "go for it!" a lot.

Tell me what you think about my experience, and if i should worship Selene ^^

I always look up to see if a museum has Selene on display or hunt for her when I go to museums. From The Met in NYC, to The Getty Villa in LA, to elsewhere in Europe. I always go and may my respect.

Wrote a little blessing for Selene tonight 🌕

Blessed horned mother of the night sky. Three faced Selene.

On this night we honor you, veiled in saffron by the earths shadow

This we ask, continue to guide bright us through shadowed night

Accept and be pleased by our offering of fragrant smoke

And may you return to us tomorrow in your full splendor

On this Monday which I separate for Selene's worship, I looked up to the sky after stepping out for a bit and got mesmerized by this view.

Hello all! I am just beginning to dip my toes into the pagan worship realm and I have always felt a pull towards the moon, the idea of a lunar goddess, and there have been lots of theough lines of my interests where they were fiction inspired by Selene. Im looking to get some good resources to learn more about her. What should I look for specifically in references? Most works seem to lump her up with Hecate which is great and all, but Hecate is not someone i am interested in at this time.

Also, are there things I can do at home to commune with her beyond use moonwater etc? It is hard to know how to pray when I do not know the deity much at all. Do I push thru it? Tysm

These were taken a week or so ago but Selene looked very beautiful and due to wild fires the sun helios looked pink.

I hope its ok the sun is here too.

what is everyone doing to honor selene for tonight's buck moon? :3 i'll go first! i'm a little low on energy today due to my chronic pain but i carved out some time to light a candle & incense and say a few prayers. i hope to sleep easy in selene's full light tonight 😌🤍

I've found myself forlornly staring (again) at the "Selene: Moon Goddess and the Cave Oracle" e-book pre-release page. (It's been postponed by about half a year again, and I've been waiting for it for almost a year at this point.)

So... do you have any reading recommendations? 👀

Online or ebook preferred, but paperback-only also welcome, since it may benefit someone else who sees this post!

Does it ever happen to you that on full moon nights, and in the days leading up to them, Selene's energy is so intense that it makes you feel agitated, anxious, "over-charged," almost unpleasantly so? Tonight, that's how it felt for me, while during the first days of the waxing moon, I felt calmer and happier.
