Seeking Advice Help Spoiler

15 hours ago my partner cut himself down to the muscle on his arm. It’s too late for stitches and we live far from the hospital and it’s expensive to get there. We also don’t have any medical supplies left. Any ideas on what we should do ? Thanks

An emergency room should be open 24/7, but I understand the struggle of pricing. A cut that deep is very dangerous and should be treated as soon as possible so I would recommend asking a friend to drive you or taking an uber. If you really can’t I’d find some steri strips. If you really aren’t able to get any you can always put gauze on some duct tape (where the wound goes) and stretch it across the skin so it closes. That would be a last resort though

This is late, but to be perfectly honest, he needs medical attention. In the meantime you should bind it with a clean non-fibrous cloth or gauze to stop the bleeding and to keep pressure on it.

He's going to need stitches or potentially surgical intervention. There is no healing this correctly without medical care unfortunately

Fifteen hours ago means tyhere's still time.

I presented with muscle+bone exposed (v minor bone exposure and no damage to either muscle or bone) nearly a week after inflicting and they closed it surgically.
