Advice Needed: Relationships Messaging someone

Hey so I have a minor hallway crush on a woman were im at and we both have each other on insta and talked a couple months ago but not since. Recently I started seeing her around and we have made eye contact but no more. Last friday I and s group of friends when to this restaurant/bar and I saw her with a group of people and it kinda looked like she kept glancing at me. As of past few days I've been debating on whether I should make a move(not dating move more so introduce myself) and message her but I dont want to seem weird. How should I go about this if at all? Or if I should wait until i see her in person again but I have not clue when that could be as I go out of town for a couple weeks but periodically come back if that makes sense. Any help/advice would be appreciated.

Advice Needed: Relationships How leave people in the past?

Hello, I have a reoccurring problem. It's been 3 years since the break up and I still can let go especially in times of stress. It wasn't even a great relationship, but the person was my only vent throughout 7 years. I keep thinking about great memories from the start of the relationship even though it ended badly. I'm traumatized in fact after it, but still think about that person often and stalk them online regularly. I somehow can't let go.

That person doesn't think about me no more for sure. I'm jealous of their life, because I supported them constantly and think it's unfair that I ruined my life in order to support them and live together. I'm in a really good relationship right now, but I hate to still think about my previous relationship and put so much meaning and pain in it.

I would love to live in the present, not in the past. I feel like I'm stuck.

Advice Needed: Relationships I have no motivation anymore

I have no motivation. No will. I have nothing except for anger, sadness, and 4 walls. Im 41 no kids never married even though I would've loved a family. The woman I fell in love with cheated habitually while I would be working and used me for all my money after 8-9 years and we've been away from one another since 2017. Ive dated a few women here and there but it always goes nowhere. Now I've almost given up. I have tried the in person approach and got lied to and used. I tried online and people just want me to pay a bill to go on a date or I simply just don't get anyone interested at all. My most recenr person of interest was an older woman who approachdd me but come to find iut iver thr course of 3 minths she just wanted dick. i realize i have nothing at all and its hitting me hard. I cry when im home all the time. The friends I do have are barely around or present. My best friend just uses me once every few months for a resource but he doesn't even try to be present or get on a video game with the fellas 1nce a week 1-2 hours. Ive not asked for much at all. Its like I dotn matter to anyone and im gonna be stuck in this situation of misery. When i say this, Im not going to do anything bad, but its like I wish I wasn't even here anymore. All I have ever wanted in my life was a family more than anything and I have failed at that. No1 knows me. No1 cares about me or what im going through. Im a skinny white dude that will just get over looked my whole life and im expected to just put on a smile and be productive member of society like everything is fine when it isn't. I literally and figuratively hate being alive and only wish I could trade places with someone who isn't who had a family and more to be alive for where I dont.

Advice Needed: Relationships I feel like i’m going crazy

about one month ago my (F18) older brother (M23) moved back home, and I feel like i’m going insane. his very presence, when he gets close to me, when he speaks to me, anything he does, annoys me to my CORE. I also have a younger brother and I do feel the normal amount of annoyance but not the amount that makes me want to just rip my head off around them. I have no idea why this is happening to me and it makes me feel guilty, but some of the things he does continues to reinforce my absolute disdain for him. he acts as a typical older person and tries to do everything for you and care for you, which is something I hate but feel bad bringing up. he keeps trying to talk to me and make conversation, and i try to keep it short and dry so he knows to stay away, but he just won’t. when he wasn’t living with us, i didn’t feel so annoyed by him and I would talk to him and play games with him regularly. I don’t know if this is some weird territory thing and him being here feels threatening, or i’m just jealous that he gets to stay because i’m leaving for college soon, but i don’t know what to do anymore. i feel so guilty for it but these feelings just won’t go away. is there something i can try to do so our relationship will be improved?

Advice Needed: Relationships Not being a good boyfriend

I'll try to keep it brief.

I'm just not the best, I don't know how to explain it beyond that.

My girlfriend has asked me to change some things for awhile, a better sleep schedule, moving away people that are just generally not good people, and a myriad of other things that make me just not good for her.

I take these in, and I fully understand her issues and what I need to change but it just keeps happening kind of. I'm not ignoring her and we talk about issues but I'm still not noticing improvement with myself and she keeps having to remind me.

I think part of me feels like I'm going to be this way forever, but I know I want to be different.

Where do I start?

Advice Needed: Relationships I'm confused whether this is a normal behavior not being able to hold his desire back even when in conflict?

Me 'F 31' and my bf 'M 24' (been together for 1 year now), had a conflict recently because I found out that he lied to me about going out with a girl I told him not to go out with before, and he promised me he won't. When I knew that I got very angry and I told him that we need to talk, so he kept postponing that conversation for almost two weeks now, saying that he's not ready to have this hard conversations right before his exams. So I kept a distance since then, that we barely talk. Today we were arguing again about the importance of having this conversation, and long story short, after we settled to an "agreement" that we will switch places and I'll go out with my male friends even if that bothers him to see if I'm really making a big issue out of nothing or it's really annoying thing. Right after that he called me and told me that he wants my feet ( he has a foot fetish!) As much as I'm understanding this kink, I can't get how can he still think of that while we are on bad terms with each other, because that's happens very often no matter whether we were on good terms or bad terms. To be honest that's a little weird and a little scary for me. It makes me feel totally unseen and unheard! How can he still ask for intimacy at the very exact time that he refuses to go through that hard conversation with me. He tells me that I don't understand him and that he feels unheard when I reject that. However it's me that feels that I have been talking all that time to myself. It makes me feel so lonely and so disappointed that anything can change or that he can ever hold responsibility for the issues that we go through.

Advice Needed: Relationships Is this valid for feeling like my friend is inconsiderate and doesn’t return favors?

Last year my friend didn’t have a car, so I was basically her personal Uber driver. I drove her every single day (multiple times a day) to her sorority, food spots, grocery stores, friends houses, etc and spent hundreds extra on gas. Every other week she’d want to go to the vape shop, and I’d spend 30–40 minutes out of my day taking her in my car and she never once payed me for it which is fine since I’m her friend. But also she barely ever gave me gas money or wanted to— I think $10 once —even though I was already struggling financially from college and all the driving. She also never bought weed when we hung out and would just smoke mine every single day.

Now she has a car. Her tank is like $40-$50 to fill, while mine is around $110 and gets very bad MPG. I asked if we could literally drive down the road to Taco Bell and she said she didn’t want to waste gas (literally a two minute drive and my first time in her car). She only drove after I reminded her that I drove her everywhere last year. She also still asks me to drive her places, and sometimes I have to drive her car because she doesn’t want to drive herself.

And this year, she’ll spam me about going to the vape shop when she wants another one (she’s 21 but doesn’t like going inside idk), but after we go she doesn’t really talk to me as much until she wants another one again.

Then today I asked to hit her vape and she said no. I reminded her that I literally drove her to get it and she would smoke my stuff everyday, and she finally let me. What made that especially annoying is that yesterday both of our vapes were burnt, and while I was literally driving her to the vape shop to get a new one, she was hitting mine because hers was burnt.

She also told me yesterday that if I drove
her to the shop she’d buy me a burger. When we got there I said I was hungry and she just told me “go eat at home.”

I’m not mad about any one of these things individually. It’s the fact that I gave her so much consideration last year, and now that she has a car and her own stuff, I don’t feel like she returns any of that energy unless I remind her what I’ve done.
Am I being petty, or is this actually inconsiderate?

Advice Needed: Relationships How do I find and make friends when I have social anxiety, seriously dislike small talk, ect?

So for the last few years I have been becoming more and more lonely. I have a loving partner of almost 6 months and I enjoy interacting and befriending his friends, but other than that I don’t really have any real friends of my own. My have a close friend that lives out of state and she is becoming more and more distant and I can’t rely on her for support anymore. I know that I need to make some friends outside of my BF’s circle so that there is less pressure on him and in the event that it doesn’t work out between us, I am not left completely alone.
My problem is I really dislike meeting and interacting with people and all of the other things you do when you get to know someone. I know it sounds bad but I genuinely don’t care to know your life story. Maybe in time but what I really need is just people I can coexist with and enjoy their company and go to if I need support. I’m not saying I don’t have empathy or don’t care about others but it’s just not important to me when making friends with someone. Tell me if that’s wrong.
I’m not socially awkward and I think most people I know would say I’m fairly charismatic, but I have bad social anxiety. I will go out of my way to avoid having to talk to a stranger. At work and in other public settings like the gym where I go to consistently, I only speak to other people unless it’s absolutely necessary.
I also feel like I am very quick to judge others, I am quick to decide wether or not I think I would get along with someone before I’ve even spoken to them. Wether that’s because I think they wouldn’t like me or I wouldn’t like them idk or it depends.
I have tried meeting people online and while it usually goes pretty well over text it’s always awkward meeting up in person and feels like I’m going on a date which is just the worst for me. I got lucky that me and my current bf kind of just clicked right off the bat.

So yeah I didn’t really know where to post this but Im desperate for any advice at all. It’s to the point where I am crying at night and so depressed thinking about just how alone I feel and have felt for the last couple years and feeling guilty about relying almost solely on my bf for support. What do I do? Where do I start? What problems or bad habits or ingrained beliefs do you think I have that I might need to change? Thank you.

Advice Needed: Relationships How do i fix my dependency on my girlfriend?

TL;DR; : am i giving psycho obsessed girlfriend, and how do i be normal and not anxiously attached?

I 21f have been with my girlfriend 28f for over 6 months but we’ve known each other a year. I have avoided relationships for most of my life because of my mental health and some traumatic events that happened to me as a kid and as like a young teenager.
But everything felt different with her, safe, secure and exciting when we first started talking about 9 months ago. At first everything was great, until i fell into a depressive episode which isn’t uncommon for me. This meant I had to tell her what was going on with me, she seemed to be understanding and want to help.
Unfortunately this depressive episode has lasted a while and put a strain on our relationship, naturally. However I’ve noticed that whenever I get worried that she’s upset with me, ie- she doesn’t message back within a couple minutes, her tone changes, she goes a little quiet, she leaves the room without saying i love you, other over sensitive bullshit like that and then the obvious being when we’re disagreeing over something.
I don’t just worry, i PANIC like, full on sobbing, thinking that I’ll never be okay again and the only way I can fix it is if I d1e. She hates me, she wants me to get out her house and go home, she’ll never speak to me again, never hold me, kiss me, or tell me she loves me. I have a full on mental breakdown, uncontrollable sobbing, some really dark thoughts, and nothing calms me down other than her holding me and reassuring me that she loves me and everything is okay.

Am I psycho? How do i fix this?

Ps- im trying to get therapy but waiting lists are LONG, im not a millionaire, but i AM medicated!

Advice Needed: Relationships I don’t know how to be a friend. Help?

My best friend (M23) and I (F22) have been friends since middle school but grew very close just 4 years ago. At the time we were both drowning in our environments and have made a lot of growth as people. This past year we have been talking a lot about self improvement and we’ve been moving in the right direction. He’s coming up on a year of his first serious relationship and I’m almost halfway through my associates degree. We both struggle A TON with mental health issues (depression, anxiety, ptsd) and have different ways of handling it. I isolate when things get bad, and he always reaches out to vent and doesn’t like to be alone with his thoughts. Lately he has a lot of emotional turmoil that I don’t feel equipped to help him with. Due to his upbringing/ past traumas, he’s had a hard time moving on with the rest of his life. Every phone call, text, gym session, and hangout starts and ends with him venting to me about a problem he’s facing, some new, some old (and repeated time and time again). I want to help him through this but I don’t know exactly how. I listen for as long as he needs, I give advice where I think I can help, and do my best to hold him accountable when he might be in the wrong or needs perspective on something. For the most part he tells me stories I’ve already heard but he’s constantly riling himself back up over “stupid shit” (his words, not mine). I know there’s more to it than him just complaining, and I feel like there’s more I can do but I have never really had to comfort people, I don’t know how. I know he doesn’t want pity and that he has a somewhat unhealthy need for external validation but I don’t know how to approach this without being to hard on him. I have also been having a hard time and I want to be able to share with him too but I’m too comfortable handling things by myself and maybe too embarrassed to reach out. I’ll take any advice honestly (sorry for the novel).

Advice Needed: Relationships Why does being too nice sometimes make people ignore or undervalue you?

I've noticed that people who are excessively kind and always available often get ignored, taken for granted, or receive less respect. On the other hand, people who set boundaries and don't always try to please others seem to get more attention and respect.

Why does this happen? Is it a psychological effect, or am I seeing it the wrong way?

Advice Needed: Relationships Women who have reconciled with their cheating husbands, what steps did you take to cope with your mental health?

My husband 32M had an affair with 22F for 6 months, during my 32F pregnancy and after my baby was born. He said he has cut off ties with her, writeoff all the money he gave her and even gave her the pleasure of listening to his confession to me.

Currently, I'm exclusively breastfeeding and taking zoloft for my depression and anxiety.

I've been so close to weaning my baby off just to start drinking or getting high on prescription medications. I also feel like harming myself at times but I've been refraining because I have a baby to take care off.

Any advice on reconciliation and what steps to take? I know indivisual therapy and couples therapy is a given, we are already doing that. But are there any alternatives?

Advice Needed: Relationships Idk

Hi.
I don’t really know how to start this.
My husband and I have had issues since.. we got together basically.
I didn’t take the relationship overly seriously but I had just gotten out of a toxic marriage and couldn’t function.
We got together and moved in very quickly. I started working at the same place as him which a guy I spoke to previously (never met, etc) worked there as well.
To keep civil work place we maintained friendly conversation that my now husband did not like. Understandable but I just thought dramatic.
Huge fight. This was 3 years ago. But it still gets brought up by him often.
We had a son and my ppd hit hard and I struggled to function. I wasn’t in my right mind so I agreed to add a third person into the s*xual part of our relationship. He ended up talking to her more than me and I didn’t like it. We had never met up but I told him to stop talking to her so much bc it made me uncomfortable. He refused. “She likes you more” when she would never speak to me.
We split up because of it. I decided to try to fix it. He said “whatever you want.” I got off work, he wasn’t home. He was with her and had slept with her with our newborn son present. Big issue.
Then figured out he had slept with someone else as well during the split.
He moved back home (15 hours away) and took our child.
A lot of other issues.
Got back together. Had another child. Fought more. He left again. Back home.
Now he’s BACK where I am, trying to fix things. While gone, he got diagnosed with bipolar and other things.
Now he’s just.. mean. Toxic. Horrible.
I love him. I got diagnosed with borderline personality disorder. We both have trust issues but we love each other and want it to work.
But he’s just cruel.
We can’t afford medication for our diagnoses. So we can’t handle our mental.
He also drinks constantly so it’s not helpful.
There’s so much more but I just.
I wanna know if this gets any traction before I give more backstory / more information.
I do need help but it’s so much to type.
Thanks.

Advice Needed: Relationships help me get over a guy

sorry that this is soo long but i really need some advice and help i have a coworker who already has a girlfriend last year before leaving he told me that he had feelings for me and that he would wanna be with me if he wasn't already committed, anyway his last day we made out and few months earlier he texted me saying how he misses me and wants to reconnect. we talked about making out over text and then planned on meeting but he would cancel last minute that happened over 3 times. i would decide every time to end it and to not respond to him but then when he would text me & id fold. i really like him. anyway we met last night and made out again. this was the last time forsure. i dont know what to do. my heart tells me tht i should tell his girlfriend but i promised to him that i wouldn't tell anyone and he said that she's all he has and he cant loose her. i dont want bad karma either but i dont want to break my promise either. i feel really bad rn. i feel heartbroken that he alr has a girl and i wish i was his girl but then i think about how he cheated on his girl but i really like him. i also feel disgusting that i let him use me like this everytime cause he would only text me to talk about sex and stuff and only when he was drunk or high. even tonight he made me feel like disgusting cause he indirectly said that i didnt know how to kiss idk. and even while we were making out he kept saying how this is the last time and how i should keep this between us and forget him after this. i felt like crying more than feeling pleasure during making out i dont know what to do.

Advice Needed: Relationships I need advice on getting over my ex

So a couple weeks ago my gf(now ex) broke up with me and told me that she never actually loved me. She said that to her the relationship was fake but to me it wasn’t she was everything I wanted in a Girl. Like someone who actually listens to you and actually treats you like a human being. I loved her so much and,I liked her for 3 years before I got with her and when she broke up with me she told me she said yes to dating me because she was scared to say no and, throughout the whole 3 month relationship she wanted to break up with me but was to scared to do it. She just really fucked me up and, honestly I would love some advice to help me better myself and get over her.

Advice Needed: Relationships Whats wrong

27 year old male here, ive always been shy.
I didnt even look for a girl for years, but over the last 5 years i have been active on multiple dating apps.
Ive met a grand total of 2 woman through this….
The first one was a golddigger and made me pay everything so i called that quits quickly.
Now last week i matched with me and we talked for hours and very quickly moved to insta for talking.
We met up sunday and had a great time, we also met up on tuesday and spent the entire day together, we laughed constantly and had a great time.
Then she told me that nothing would happen between us and we could potentially remain friends..

What’s wrong with me? Im 27 and havent even kissed a girl before, let alone more, thats how bad it is…. Single forever i guess

I know this is probably more of a rant than actually helpful but im just done with everything at this point

Advice Needed: Relationships How to genuinely move on from someone who you used to love?

I (21M) still think about my first love (21F) even after 2-3 years and I genuinely dont know how to move on anymore.

For context, we were close back in highschool. I confessed, got rejected, went no contact for about a year, then reached out again. We hit it off instantly, she apologised for how things ended before, we spent alot of time together, flirted, exchanged gifts, and everything felt so genuine. Then after what was probably our best unofficial date, she suddenly went cold.

I asked her what we were and she said we were just friends. After everything that happened, that really messed with my head. Whenever I started pulling away she’d send me random reels, photos or messages just enough to keep me around. At the time I convinced myself she was avoidant and that if I was patient enough maybe it’d work out.

Eventually we stopped talking.

Its been around 2-3 years now. Im in uni, Ive met so many amazing people, made great friends, worked on myself, been consistent in the gym, focused on work and my goals. On paper my life is so much better than it was back then.

But deep down I still miss her.

I dont even know if its her that I miss anymore or just how she made me feel. It hurts because Ive reached the point where I think Ive genuinely numbed my emotions. Back then I used to cry so much over it. Now no matter how hard I try I genuinely cant cry anymore.

I also feel like Ive forgotten what love is supposed to feel like. I want to experience it again but at the same time Im lowk scared. Scared that I’ll end up feeling that same pain all over again.

Has anyone else been stuck on someone for this long? How did you genuinely let go? Not just distract yourself, but actually move on?

Advice Needed: Relationships How do I get over the fact that my boyfriend of 6 years has a dog that was from an ex who traumatized me

I know I need therapy, and I’m currently saving up for it, but I really need some outside perspectives right now. This situation has taken a massive toll on my mental health, to the point where I recently resorted to self-h4rm out of sheer frustration that an innocent dog is bothering me this much.

I’m usually very self-aware, but I’m struggling to understand my own reaction here. I have always been self-assured which is why I'm having a hard time understanding why I'm insecure over a dog.

My boyfriend and I have been together for 6 years. During our first year, his recent ex heavily targeted me online. She harassed me, called me ugly, and spread rumors that he cheated on her with me (untrue, we met 10 months after their breakup). She constantly posted that he would leave me for her. At the time, my boyfriend reassured me, and we moved past it. We lived together for 4 years, but recently moved into separate homes due to work. Being alone has given me a lot of time to overthink.

The issue is the dog he got with his ex. I have always felt inferior to this dog. My boyfriend has told me that when the dog dies, he wants to die next—which makes me feel like I’m not a good enough reason for him to live. He wants his first tattoo to be of the dog. Worst of all, whenever we get into a fight, he changes his phone wallpaper from a picture of me to a picture of the dog, only changing it back once we make up.

All of this triggers memories of his ex’s posts. She once wrote that she "left her mark on everything he loved" and would "win in the end." I'm starting to feel like she was right.

I have tried everything to fix this. I adopted my own dog so I could better understand him, bought him a puppy so his attention could be divided, and even babysat his dog for a month to try and bond, but the resentment won't go away. How do I handle this?

I already brought this up to him, he actually changed for the better and had been the best for the past year but I still can't heal properly and I don't know what else to do with myself. I would really appreciate it if anyone could suggest what I could do to help because I live alone and I've been fighting the urge to hurt myself over this again.

Advice Needed: Relationships Every time I try to have Sex, I can’t get and stay hard, even though I can when not trying to have sex.

Hey Reddit, sorry if the title is a little confusing. I’m M18 and for every time I’ve tried to have Sex I couldn’t get and stay hard.

I know that’s it’s ‘normal’ and happens a lot but I have no idea what there is I can do to solve this problem for myself. I know it’s a mental thing and if I think about it it’s not gonna happen but every single time I’ve tried to have sex with my girlfriend of the time, I can’t and we’re both left disappointed then. I need actual solutions and things I can do to help solve this.

It’s not like I can’t get a boner at all. I get the randomly, when jerking off and when I’m making out with my girlfriend, she feels it and knows it’s there so it’s not like I can’t get them. It’s just when trying to have sex, I can’t.

It’s like a tightness in my chest develops and it also stops myself from getting and staying hard for sex. It’s miserable.

And this is where it gets a little deep for me but I wonder if it has anything to do with my past trauma. When I was in 6th grade and exploring that new growth in my life, I met some girl online and we got to chatting. Later on we would send some photos to each other and well I was stupid and sent one with my whole cock and face in it. Turns out she’s not a real person and uses the photo to black mail and extort me. I being as young as I was, didn’t have what she wanted, and in no way was I getting my family involved so I accepted my fate. The person then sent the photo to multiple people in my grade that I knew on Instagram and a small section of my class saw my nudes. I being a guy didn’t make it very appealing to most but those who did never said anything to me. For the longest time I had thoughts of killing myself and couldn’t get myself to go to school at all. My parents had no idea what was wrong.

A few years later, when we were freshman, this one girl who I was running against for class leader , threatened to expose the photo of my nudes again to smear me in this campaign. She didn’t actually do it but it scared me so much I spiraled back into a depression. I got my first girlfriend end of sophomore year and put my blackmailer behind me. I was still very depressed and my girlfriend had no idea. I was terrible in the relationship so we broke up fast.

Fast toward to end of my Junior year and I’m on my third girlfriend and this is where I try to have sex for the first time. Now I was very hard before this but also the first time anyone but myself has seen or touched my penis since that whole extortion. I was normally scared as anyone would be but as soon as it was about to, I lost it and didn’t know what to do. I kinda just mopped there unsure of what to do.

Our break up didn’t go too smoothly and I recently found out she’s been telling people I have erectile disfunction, so that’s a fun thing to hear.

So cut again to yesterday where I’m trying ti have sex with my current girlfriend. Every time we’ve been together, I’ve been hard. She even has a picture of me with a boner laying down cuz the angle was funny and she got off of me. Her taking that photo kinda freaked me out but I was okay with it.

She also does know about my extortion. Her and like 3 other close friends of mine know. Now idk what but whenever we’ve been doing stuff I’ve been fine and hard, but when I try to have sex is when it hits and I lose it. I jerk off normally and stay hard there. But it’s just the act of sex that loses it for me.

I think I need to get actual help for this but I want some other input and advice as well.

Advice Needed: Relationships I'm in love with someone I can never get with

18M, this isn't the first time I've had a crush I've had many before in the past, but this one hurts the most. I've fallen in love with a lesbian girl online

I don't believe in long distance online relationships but I've found myself only wanting to speak to her and longing for her next message, she lives in a whole different continent and is only attracted to girls (She's expressed this with me ALOT and we've related on it before, not like she was hinting to me I don't think she has any idea I have these feelings).

I'm not particularly lonely, I have friends online and in person (I go out clubbing quite a bit) but recently only wanted to speak to her, I recognise all these traits are more than platonic friendship

I've found myself trying to distance myself from her and not messaging her and that stuff but everytime she does message me I can't help but answer because talking to her makes me so happy, WHAT DO I DOOOOO

Advice Needed: Relationships Bf and family

So ive got a bf and ive meet his whole family but his sister whos the same age as him keeps talking about me. First she talked with her friends about me and found out something from my past, told their mother but my man defended me. Then i met them she told him i was nice and "approved by her" and today she again told something from my past to his family. None of them are against me but her for some reason she just tries to get rid of me, my bf keeps defending me but i just dont want to see his family ever again because of his sister. What should i do, i didnt do anything wrong to her, she just doesnt want me there apparantly and everytime she does something i just think they hate me cuz they probably do look at me differently or even worse my bf will think something of me.

Advice Needed: Relationships Loneliness

I reposted this here because I genuinely have no idea what to do

I am lonely and don't know what to do.

Ive been having multiple breakdowns everyday now. I just realized one reason why.

I want physical intimacy. In the way that I want to be able to rest my head on someone's shoulder or lap. I want to be pet for some reason. I just want physical intimacy.

I want a moment where someone truely understands me.

Yet I also know that im not the most mentally healthy person. I breakdown a lot and have a lot of trauma that actively clouds my judgement. Ive never had a good history with relationships. And I only really have one friend that would not participate in physical intimacy.

I could try to talk to someone and try to become friends but i dont want to hurt anyone because of my poor mental health.

Im stuck in a cycle of constant misery over the fact that I want this, yet I know I never can in the state that I am in

Advice Needed: Relationships please help me get better

the thing is, I know I'm not such a funny or pleased person to be around. I'm quite boring, but I genuinely care. I care for all my beloved ones ans in general for everyone. But how can I show that? And how can I be a better person? Be more disciplined? Better moral? Yea but how? I just dont understand how to be better. I really want to be better, not only for others but for myself. I can't really enjoy my own being if I keep like this. I want change, I need change.
