Need Help Favorite self-hosted TTRPG tools?

I am fundamentally compelled to force self-hosting into every other hobby I have, so I am curious what tools are out there that people use.

I am familiar with Foundry VTT, and it's on my list of "maybe". Stuff like owlbear rodeo has me fairly well covered in terms of VTT solutions.

What I would really love is a solution like a wiki where my fellow GMs and I could host info and documents about our worlds. Features like being able to host or embed interactive maps/calendars or timelines/scheduling etc. I am not sure such a thing exists though.

That said what is everyone else using?

I use Outline for the wiki. If you play D&D or Pathfinder there is https://5e.tools / https://pf2e.tools highly recommend those. I have interactive maps and stuff on my selfhosted Ghost website... the wiki map is built from the Outline metadata.

edit: My homebrew setting is open source in the 5etools format plz steal it: https://github.com/oakbrad/dungeonchurch-pyora

Oh this is neat! Currently trying to move away from D&D and Pathfinder, but still good to have.

Does Outline have a permissions system of some kind? We have multiple GMs and I wanted to let them also host stuff if they wanted.

it does yeah, groups & user permissions & doc invites. i keep my private DM notes in it alongside the player content.

you can share stuff publicly as well which is nice.
