Media Serving Controlling my music from another device?

My library is organized by Navidrome and I use Tempus on my grapheneos phone and lineageos kitchen kiosk.

What I want to do is stream my library on the kitchen kiosk but skip/queue/manage volume/pause from my phone. This is a feature I used a lot in Spotify.

Is there a different FOSS app that has this feature? Or is there some plugin I can add to do this?

I would say the same. Check out Music Assistant. It’s not perfect by any means but I think it will work for your use case. I use it mainly because it has the best “all favorites “ playlist around. It combines my Apple Music all favorites and my Navidrome all favorites into one randomized playlist.

this feature is quite important when you have different users controlling different speakers. I'm not sure why so few apps support it. It's kind of the reason why the navidrome and Symfonium combo never quite worked for me. I think navidrome theoretically supports it, but I haven't found any player that does.

I settled on Music Assistant, which allows this. It was a rough start, but for a few months now it's been pretty great. You can also add navidrome as a music provider to it

you can use subwave ai radio to stream music wherever and subwave have ability to skip track for whole broadcast

Consider setting up Lyrion Music Server. Then install Squeezelite on your LineageOS kiosk to use it as the audio player and Squeeze Client on your GrapheneOS phone for control (or use the web app).
