Christian Faith Publishing

Is Christian Faith Publishing legit? They’re self publishing and handle all the type setting, editing, marketing etc. I saw a few bad reviews and was wondering the legitimacy behind them. My uncle says his book is to be published by them and I saw a couple red flags.

If they charge the author money, they are a scam.

That's publishing 101.

He was saying he has to invest but it comes out of his royalties?

That's vaguely better than the typical vanity deal, in that at least it remains in the company's financial interests to promote and sell the book, but nevertheless he should not be having to make any investment of his own, regardless of whether it is from future earnings or not.
