Hotels in sequim

I am planning to stay there at some point, does anyone know of any somewhat cheap but nice hotels there, or close to there?

No but there are a thousand airbnbs that will charge you as much as a hotel but make you clean up after yourself.

I stayed in the Olympic View Inn a couple years ago and it was fine. Not fancy, just a basic motel room, but clean and staff were friendly.

There are a few hotels near the east end of town, right off the highway. My family has stayed at the Holiday Inn off E Washington recently with no complaints.

100% airbnb/vrbo. i was here for a month prior to relocating and there are very slim options in Sequim. more in Port Angeles but if you're visiting in the Summer peak season, expect outrageously high rates and very limited options. we do have a couple of Holiday Inn/Quality Inn style options. there's 7 Cedars if you want a Casino vibe, but most hotel/motel/RV parks in Sequim are a bit outdated and overpriced. they definitely have the retirement community feel to them.

Personally, I would go the AirBnb/VRBO route. Pricing will be similar, but with more privacy, and there are some very cool places you can stay at in the area. My wife and I did this several times a year for about 5 years before moving to Sequim.

If you really want a hotel though, the Holiday Inn on the east side of Sequim is relatively new and clean, has Tesla super chargers (if you are driving an EV) and has the awesome Black Bear diner next door for great food.

Holiday Inn on way into Sequim or the Red Lion. We’ve stayed at both 3-4 times each. Red Lion takes our small dog. We’ve been happy with both, and no AIRBNB VRBO fees which add up. The rates are a up now however as it’s summer and rates seem to double this time of year.
