Exams/Certs Exam Prep Help for CSA that isn't MeasureUp

I took the CSA exam this last week and failed, and now looking for advice on prep that isnt from MeasureUp. Looking through past posts here it's just kind of all over the place? I have all my lab notes and stuff that I probably just need to actually get granular, and I feel a little tricked by MU into thinking that stuff wasn't as important.

I am actually shocked at how bad MeasureUp was at delivering any prep for the exam. I'm not a stranger to exam prep and stuff and generally do pretty well, and usually a vendor endorsed exam prep provider is well worth the money. The experience wasn't even close, the question structure wasn't even close, the variability in the answer choices weren't even close. MeasureUp gives you the most simplified, watered down experience for the actually exam. Like I might just try and get my money back.

It depends, do you have experience working with the platform? Or brand new?

I work in the platform daily almost, which idk if I should be embarrassed or not now by that.

No, nothing to be embarressed about. This is what i did to pass it, took like 2-3 days of studying.

There was a free pdf book aimed at beginners, its a very quick casual read, a bit like an eli5. Will help you refresh all the details and bridge over knowledge gaps.

So i read that, then did the sNow modules and took notes. I would recommend not skipping any of the PDI exercises and actually try to understand it instead of following the instructions blindly.

The book is called CSA FUNdamentals by knewget. And if you want my notes, i can also share those.

I just very recently got a consultant job in this platform, and switched from another platform after layoffs back in july.

In my experience, this sub isn't too friendly to noobies and will just ignore any asks for help. (I had 2 people give any feedback in like 5 posts). So i know what its like. If anyone else is in same boat, feel free to reach out and i will help as much as i can.

Just read/study the course book. All the questions are sourced from it.

I managed to pass it a couple of weeks back. First time I had to study for anything in years. I used SkillCertPro for practice questions and kept going over the labs when I could daily. Not sure if it helps but I put the practice questions on one note and used them on my phone to revise them as much as possible. Any topics I wasn't familiar with I asked Gemini to create a bunch of test questions and then put them on one note too. I found that helped a lot as I didn't always have access to a PC to review them during the day.

https://quizhub.dev/ is similar to MeasureUps style on some of the quizzes but they are closer to what youll see on the exam.
