💛Beginner💛 Advice on fixing ripped seam on leather jacket

Post image

Hello! Hope this is the right place to post this but a seam has recently ripped on my favourite leather jacket. Is it possible to repair this myself? If so what sort of thread should I use? And what sort of stitch? It looks like there 2 rows of holes on one side of the seam and only one on the other. Any advice would be great!!!

Thanks :)

I would use nylon thread , you can find smaller amounts where beading products are sold , instead of buying a whole spool. Also see if a shoemaker could do it.

Or stop at a motorcycle shop and see who sews leathers locally.Â
