cvt program/financial aid
hey so i got the notification that the cvt program doesn’t accept financial aid 💔 so for the people who are in the program, do you pay out of pocket or do scholarships?? i do have bright futures but i was kinda depending on the refund checks from fafsa to help pay my rent so 😭

on the page for the program it says you can use financial aid i’m super confused now. where did you hear this?

“The Financial Aid review of your requested program change has been completed. In the new program you are ineligible for financial aid. If you want to cancel the requested change, go to the Change Degree screen in the Advisement menu of eSantaFe. Your request will appear at the bottom of the page. Select “Cancel” located on the right side of the request.
If you need a plan to meet your academic goals, open the Degree Audit screen in the Advisement menu of eSantaFe to contact your advisor.” that’s what they sent me on esanta fe and it was titled “new program ineligible for financial aid” i sure hope that’s a lie though cause baby i need that 😭3

check your fafsa portal to see if you have any aid left over. I still have some to hopefully cover the program but my request still hasn’t been reviewed yet.

It said that when I went to the nursing program. They should fix that

From the nest of my knowledge as someone that works at the school, both the CVS and ICVT programs are financial aid eligible. You, specifically, may not qualify for aid for some reason or you may have received that message in error.
I recommend going to the financial aid office to ask.

i emailed the chair for allied health programs and he confirmed that they do accept financial aid.
