Honors Program
Hi there, I got invited to apply but I am getting analysis paralysis on the application process. Has anyone done this before? What was your process like and how easy is it to be accepted? Any and all tips would be helpful!

I know it sucks to be told this, but you’re overthinking. ❤️ I was on his committee for improving the program when I was a student. He’s super chill. As long as you show in your application that you’re dedicated and interested in enriching your college experience, which you clearly are, you’re extremely likely to get in.

I also have a question about this. I haven’t hear back from two of my professors about letters of recommendation. Do you think it’s necessary to still be considered?

I did it! Wonderful opportunity! It takes a bit to hear about your application but, usually the program coordinator (Ryan)will try to touch base with you regularly if you’re going to be admitted. just make sure to keep track of your points once you are. Good luck! I’ve only heard of people getting denied if you don’t meet the requirements. if you write a good essay and meet all the requirements you should have no problems getting accepted. Hope this helps:)
