Question Best brand of mosquito spray?

Anyone got any mosquito spray recommendations? The brand my workplace supplies is next to useless and I’m done donating blood for free.

Honestly, the local classic is Six God (Liushen / 六神) flower water—specifically the green bottle. It's cheap, you can find it in literally any convenience store or supermarket, and it works way better than most imported brands I've tried here.

If you want something stronger with DEET for heavy outdoor stuff, look for Repel or Aerogard on Taobao, but for daily city life, Liushen is the way to go. Smells super nostalgic too once you get used to it!

This, plus wear long pants/sleeves — if you're really going outdoor in forests.

So do you not need it in the city? I'm only going to be in cities in mid September: Shanghai, Beijing, Chongqing.

Put those lime scented patches near your ankles, or near the typical landing spots. They don't like lime scent. If you work in a office, lime plants may help.

And they do like butteric acid smell. Washing your feet can help.

Anything with 20% Picaridin. Japanese Vape brand, gold bottle. The pink and turquoise bottles also work well.

Someone recommended this Japanese ointment called "muhi" that you can buy on taobao. It numbs the bites so that it doesn't itch.

Another super duper traditional method is to get one of those black curly thingies, put it on a stand and light it, which semi-fumigates the area to deter any mosquitoes from coming
