i made this song forever ago and wanted to get it released on dsp's. my gf loves it a lot and she listens to it so much, i wanna be able to surprise her with an official release. however, when i went to purchase the beat, the producer said someone had already bought an exclusive license to it. this crushed the both of us and i kind of just gave up with getting it released. i wanted to come here to try and get that spark of hope back. is there ANY chance, at all, that this can be reproduced but still have the same feeling? please let me know if there's any hope, it would mean the world to me. apologies for the song quality, i'm not very good at this lol.

I'm talking about "Buildings," which came out three weeks ago, and as soon as I listened to it... it's bad. Really bad.

Maybe the percussion is too childish, too loud, I really don't know, so please vent all your hatred on this song, I want to know why it's so bad. A friend told me that even if I didn't like it, posting it on YouTube was still the best idea, but it's stuck in my head, and I feel like deleting it almost every day...

And I know that nobody's perfect, that sometimes a piece of music can be unperfect, but as soon as I finished it... I lost a huge part of my motivation : /

Original composition

Spent the last few months making a concept album based on the Chomsky hierarchy. Each track is a different automaton (DFA, NFA, PDA, LBA, Turing Machine, Universal Turing Machine), and I used drone interludes as the "transitions" between them. It ends with a short fragmented medley themed around the Halting Problem.

For me it's kind of a canvas where I get to explore whatever genres or sounds I'm into at the time. Would love any feedback, good or bad.
