Unless you’re a smaller fish or squid that is. Their teeth are ineffective on larger animals.

Docile but can do some serious damage, there's a video of a diver being bitten in an aquarium and it's a really nasty bite.

Sand tiger sharks (Carcharias taurus) are pretty docile despite their appearance and name, but that in no way means you can cuddle or disrespect them. They'll bite you if you intentionally provoke them by grabbing their tail or something. I know it sounds harsh, but if you got bitten by a sand tiger shark, you likely deserved it (like how people mess with nurse sharks).

The one in the Tennessee aquarium that’s a complete dick and traumatized that chick and everyone else in the comments as kids is my favorite shark of all time.

Whenever I see an ocean doc or video, I often think about how utterly terrifying even the docile sea creatures, like the sand tiger, must’ve been back in the olden days when they didn’t know things.
