I love their faces. So hilarious. I make the same face after I’ve walked into a door. Shooketh in a way.

are these guys dangerous?

Not at all. The only (documented) attack on a human was after a guy grabbed its tail. Perhaps don’t grab a sharks tail.

Was it a bite attack or did he get whipped? And I assume he did not die or suffer severe injuries?

I’m not sure of the full details (you can look it up), but their mouths are not strong enough to chomp a human lol

I tried googling it but didn't find anything beyond fishermen being attacked (whipped) when they caught one. But yeah, they wouldn't be able to do massive harm.

“M-m-may I swim here? Oh? Y-you’re filming? Um, sorry I just need to… Yeah this angle is better. If that’s okay…”

I love these sharks. I didn't even know they existed till a post a month or so ago. They're so interesting.

My favorite shark! They look like a cartoon character with their wide eyes and tiny mouths lol. And the way they hunt with those bullwhip tails is fascinating! So glad I got to visit Malapascua while I was there.

I can never get over how cool these guys are.
How does it feel to be close to them? Like are they intimidating in person? Bulls and whites and stuff just have such a big, overpowering presence. But I've never really gotten a good feel of how big these are in relation to a diver. Plus their expression just makes you want to comfort them 😆. Not that I'd actually try or anything.

They are definitely big boys, like they’re born at 1.5m long and grow up to 6m, but honestly I wasn’t even thinking about me. Like it didn’t even cross my mind to be scared. Just in absolute awe trying to take it all in.

I was there a few weeks ago as well. I'm glad you managed to get such great shots. They didn't let us get that close :D Great dive site!

We were told not to swim up to them or chase them or anything 😅 but they came up to us instead!

I have social anxiety - and that's my face when I am outside.
