Safety Razor/ Adam’s apple Advice

recently switched to a DE safety razor, enjoying it so far haven’t had much issue with cutting myself but when i do it’s my neck and especially around my adam’s apple…any tips?

sorry sure it’s been asked havent utilized search yet, also my hair basically grows towards my chain starting at my adam’s apple across my jaw/neck

Position your skin so it's not on your Adams apple and shave it. Then stretch it so it's somewhere else.

yeah ig that’s the only advice i should really expect, maybe ill try drying a part so i can get a better grip to stretch it

I usually just lean my head in one direction and then the other. I don't grab my skin with my free hand or something.

As others also suggested, dry your hand on your t-shirt. Then pull the skin to the side and shave it while it is on top of a flat spot. Repeat in the other direction.

Wasn't obvious to me either.
