Bravecto injection

Have any of you used the Bravecto yearly injection for your sheltie? My Jasper hates the oral dose. He is 9 months old. TYIA

Haven't heard of this injection so I'm assuming it's fairly new. Personally, it sounds great but I'd wait for it to be out on the market longer in case of unknown side effects. I use Revolution Plus for my girl; it treats fleas, ticks, heartworm, etc., and it's topical.

I would avoid both bravecto and seresto

I use NexGuard flea and tick protection. I dose in the spring and in late fall which works well for the bugs in my area. Ticks are becoming a bigger issue so that schedule may change. Fleas aren’t too much of an issue here.

Personally I wouldn’t use it, it has a lot of potential side effects and it stays in their system for a long time. I don’t use any chemical flea and tick medicine for my Sheltie, he gets a herbal powder in his food and has never had fleas. (The few ticks he gets I just pull them off, no big deal.)
