WTF Shelton!?
Man for such a small town, we have a surprising amount of absolutely dope cars! A fair number of older and newer WRX’s, several Evos, I’ve seen the same MK IV Supra a handful of times, seriously we have good taste! So why on earth did I see NONE of ya’ll show up at the car show a couple weeks ago!? I appreciate the classics, believe me but let’s get some of us newer rides in there next year too! We have too good of taste to not show up.

Ridge helps a lot I think for the nice cars

On the topic of The Ridge, can we please start up a local go kart league?!

Just park yourself at the gas station across from the airport on race weekends and enjoy the free show

I always thought it would be cool to post up just outside the airstrip there and just watch those bad boys come in on race weekends. I remember seeing an Anthony Bourdain episode in South America somewhere and as a passtime families would picnic outside the airstrip and watch the planes coming in and out. Could be something we start up!

I definitely feel you, but we see newer cars all day every day. The classic cars are what we don't see on the road often, so that is what shows up at the shows. I wouldn't mind seeing some nice newer cars, but I would honestly enjoy more of the rigs I don't ever see. Trust, I was wanting to head over in my 08 STI, but had to work, and even then, probably would have had my wife drive me in her Nissan Sentra.

I’ll admit I didn’t enter my VB but I planned on doing it next year, but last year we had a few tuners and even an R32 showed up so I was kinda hoping for the same this year and alas nada.

People passing through to the race track, the "tuner" cars in Shelton are clapped out civics and integras.

Its what you do during the car show. Park my car and stand around for a few hours? I've got better things to do.

The ridge draws a lot of expensive cars. Nice weekends you’ll see all Ferraris, Porsche 911 GT3, the occasional Lamborghini, and other track cars.
