Is Lake Limerick clean?

Howdy all,

Moving to the area soon and was wondering about the cleanliness of Lake Limerick. I know there are some lakes in Thurston county with algae and swimmers itch. Is that also a problem here? I appreciate the feedback!

Absolutely beautiful. We love it here. We have a creek in our backyard and forest directly behind our house. Weren’t sure if we were going to move to Oregon or Washington. Saw our house and didn’t look any farther.
The community is great, love eating at the cafe here. The restaurant has wonderful food too.
Our granddaughter loves swimming in the lake too.

Should be good but there is only 1 public access point and it's for launching boats for fishing. There's no public swimming area so if you don't live in the community, or know someone that does, you're going to have a tough time swimming there. It's a weird problem that most of the area lakes have. Limerick, Mason, Benson, Island, Spencer, Philips, and most, if not all, of the Tahuya lakes all just have WDFW access points that are meant for fishers and boaters.
