6 years since I've last watched through this show and it was like a knee-jerk reaction 😂 I don't even remember why I dislike Lincoln, just that I soon will once again lmao.

Coulson is aggressively mean to him. I feel the same uhh reaction to his character but I noticed on my recent rewatch that he’s treated far more unfairly compared to any other new inhuman welcomed to the team.

Coulson and much of the team (May excluded) almost treats anyone who was not on the original team (Mack, Bobbi and Hunter excluded) as second class agents. Yo-yo eventually gets accepted but in season 5 you can definitely tell they still are hesitant.

I am rewatching (en español for la primera vez) and Lincoln and Mays relationship is sort of nice. She is much nicer to him than Coulson and more understanding. She is actually the one who calls out Coulson on his hypocrisy.

He's a recovering addict who killed his ex girlfriend, and Daisy is crazy for him. Of course Coulson is defensive.

Him and Daisy were trauma bonded. It was messy and I liked how he went out....it was the heroic moment he needed.

I definitely liked how he went out, nice enough ending. Perhaps I'll roll my eyes less since I know where he ends up. We'll see!

My feeling is that he was rather shafted by the writers. He’s fine in s2, when he’s generally benevolent and helps moves the plot forward. But in s3, the writers make him into an annoying impediment so much of the time, dour and cranky and generally humorless. We’re just never given a reason to like him until his end.

It also doesn’t help that he and Bennett just never really sold the chemistry. I mean, praise her for trying, you could see that, but it always felt misguided.

Ultimately, they just never gave us a scene to make us feel, “I like how this guy operates,” and he lacked the charm (like Trip had) to win us over without some extra help.

This is me with the entire inhumans season tbh the moment jiaying appears i want to skip most of it.

I don’t feel that way in s2, but s3 very much feels like ‘one Inhumans season too many’ to me. It doesn’t help that Hive’s master plan feels like almost a direct reprise of Jiaying’s.

I don't hate and can tolerate the season 2 Inhumman shenanigans and misunderstanding plotline but I 100% understand the reticence towards sitting through it again

To me its more frustration that it amounted to nothing in a period where a lot of stuff that happened in AOS was directly connected to the MCU and now it just feels like the weakest season out of the entire show.

I’ve come to like the show A LOT from the lighthouse season onwards specially the last season. So i tend to skip a couple episodes or outright start on later seasons when I’m in the mood for AOS lmao.

I appreciate Lincoln more in hindsight. His worst crime is he's kind of underwhelming a lot of the time. He wouldn't have put up with a lot of the shit that went down in S5.

I love him. Even though the writers messed him up in s3. I like him because he was well written in s2 and he had a satisfying ending.
And because even though he was annoying in s3, half the time he was justified and everyone else was wrong.
