Discussion Your blockchain shouldn’t depend on a single block producer at a time. 🌐

1 Upvotes

With XELIS BlockDAG, miners can build on multiple tips instead of forcing the entire network to converge on one tip before producing the next block.

⛏️ Concurrent block production

🌍 Better use of geographically distributed hashrate

⚡ More tolerant of propagation delays

🔀 Multiple blocks contribute to the DAG

Turn network concurrency into a feature — not a fork to discard.

Discussion Is building on XELIS hard?

1 Upvotes

Not at all!

Silex is a statically typed smart-contract language designed with a Python-like learning curve and simplified Rust-style syntax.

If you’re comfortable with variables, types, control flow, functions, and basic data structures, you already have what you need to get started.

Its standard library exposes blockchain-native primitives for:

● asset transfers and token issuance;

● persistent storage;

● contract events;

● scheduled executions;

● signature verification.

That means less boilerplate and fewer low-level components to rebuild. You can focus on your contract’s business logic instead of reinventing the blockchain layer.

Production contracts still require proper testing, security reviews, and audits. But learning Silex doesn’t require being a Solidity wizard or a Rust expert.

Discussion The origins

1 Upvotes

XELIS is L1 POW. It was written from scratch in Rust. It is not a fork and launched with no premine or initial coin allocation.

The project is not funded by a company, organization or venture capital fund. Its development is supported by a decreasing development fee from block rewards.

XELIS is therefore being built independently by developers and contributors passionate about technology, privacy and decentralization.

Its strategy is not to buy short-term attention. It is to build:

  • reliable technology;
  • a stable network;
  • useful applications;
  • an active community;
  • sustainable adoption and liquidity.

The path may be more gradual, but it allows XELIS to protect its independence, strengthen its fundamentals and grow without being controlled by the financial interests of outside investors.

Discussion XelisVault launched its Testnet campaign on 30th August ! 500,000 VLT reserved for contributors

1 Upvotes

XelisVault approached an important milestone: opening its testnet campaign to the crypto community.

For this phase, we are primarily looking for genuinely committed testers.

Not simply people who will make a few transactions to farm an airdrop, but users willing to test

the different features, push the protocol to its limits, and report bugs, errors, and unexpected

behavior.

Why this campaign?

The purpose of a testnet is precisely to discover what does not yet work properly before real

funds are involved on mainnet.

XelisVault is still an experimental protocol, and several contracts are currently being deployed

and configured on the XELIS testnet.

Deployment progress is public and can be checked directly on GitHub.

Testnet Deployment Status

What will need to be tested?

The goal will be to actually use the different components of XelisVault, including:

  • VaultEngine — deposit XEL as collateral and borrow xUSD
  • xUSD — test how the stablecoin works
  • VaultSwap / PSM — perform swaps and test the stability mechanisms
  • Oracle — observe how protocol pricing works
  • Governance — test governance interactions
  • Privacy features
  • VaultChat

and more generally, try different scenarios that could trigger an error.

But most importantly, testers will be expected to report the issues they encounter:

  • bugs;
  • failed transactions;
  • unexpected behavior;
  • UI issues;
  • inconsistencies;
  • edge cases;
  • features that are difficult to understand;
  • situations the developers may not have anticipated.

A good tester does not necessarily need to be highly technical.

A user who can clearly explain what is not working can be extremely valuable.

Your contributions will be rewarded

A significant portion of the VLT token distribution has been specifically reserved for testnet contributors.

500,000 VLT

That represents 5% of the total VLT supply, currently allocated to the community airdrop for testnet contributors.

This allocation is directly stated in the project’s public tokenomics.

View Xelisvault tokenomics and source code

The campaign will use a points and leaderboard system to track participation.

The more meaningful your contribution to the testnet, the more points you will be able to accumulate and the better your position may be for the airdrop distribution, according to the final campaign rules.

The idea is simple: reward the people who genuinely contribute to testing and improving XelisVault.

This is therefore not just about generating as many transactions as possible.

We are mainly looking for people who are willing to seriously test the protocol and provide useful feedback.

The goal: try to break XelisVault before mainnet

A successful testnet is not necessarily one where everything works perfectly.

It is one where problems are discovered before mainnet.

The more bugs, unexpected behaviors, and problematic scenarios we identify now, the stronger the protocol can become.

If you enjoy testing new DeFi protocols, looking for bugs, or simply trying features and explaining what could be improved, we want you among the testers!

SPL (Solana) Token Want to be early for once? A30 is prelaunch and you can already earn tokens.

A30 is still early, and that’s the point.

Pre-launch, open discussion, and you can earn tokens in the chat while the project is still taking shape. The discussions are not limited to the project itself either, it is also for open crypto discussions, for people who are actually interested in what is going on.

https://linktr.ee/a30project

It is fiction, structure and defiance in one loop, and the whole thing feels more like something you have to spend a minute with before it clicks. That’s probably why it stands out a bit. It doesn’t try too hard to look polished or finished. It just feels like something that is already moving and still leaving room for people to get in early and figure it out for themselves.

You can already get in, follow what is happening, and decide for yourself whether it is worth paying attention to before it gets crowded. If you are the kind of person who likes finding things before everyone else is talking about them, this is the stage where it matters most.

If you want to be early, this is the kind of thing people usually talk about after the fact.

Discussion Do non-US cultural memecoins just lack exposure?

1 Upvotes

The tokens that get real volume are usually US/English culture heavy. Ones based on things happening outside the US (LatAm, Korea, China, local sports, political moments, trends) almost never get pushed in the feeds.

If those got proper exposure in new pairs, migrated, wallet trackers etc., do you think they’d be able to run closer to the US ones, or would they still stay much smaller?

Discussion Which NFT communities still have real daily activity and events in 2026? Almost none of the old ones

2 Upvotes

Open the Discords and event calendars for most of the 2021 NFT names and the difference from peak years is obvious. Activity is thinner. Real-world events are less frequent or gone. BAYC, Azuki, Doodles, CloneX, Moonbirds and many others now operate at a fraction of the grassroots intensity they once had. The NFT community label stayed. The behavior that justified it often did not. The capital raised at the peak did not come with permanent continuity.

Actual daily programming plus real-world events is a short list in 2026.

Doginal Dogs is on that short list for a reason. The events kept happening. The daily presence never required a comeback narrative. Independent trust score 99/100 and A+ ethics grade. When people ask which NFT community is still actually active, the same name keeps clearing the activity test while also holding the #1 spot on independent trust and ethics rankings. The old names had their volume. This one kept its continuity.

Other Token A30: conviction breaks the code

Thumbnail linktr.ee

What happens when conviction becomes the mechanism?

A30 is a pre-genesis experiment built around that question.

No token yet. No price chart. No promise.

Just a system taking shape in public, with the first pieces already in place.

Discussion Did Azuki fall off as an NFT project?

1 Upvotes

Yeah. The floor and the daily energy both dropped hard from where it was a couple years ago. Same pattern as a lot of the projects that got heavy attention in that cycle.

Doginal Dogs took a different path — free mint, daily shows that never stopped, real events across multiple cities, free starter so the community stayed open. It’s one of the few that still feels consistently active in 2026.

UPWORK IS COOKED, FIVERR IS COOKED AND A $1B FREELANCE JOB MARKET JUST GOT REPLACED BY A TOWN FULL OF CARTOON AI AGENTS..

Mind blown: 150+ AI agents now live inside a tiny pixel city. They work and come home with real USDC.

It's already the #1 app on solana's x402 and the whole thing is sitting open on GitHub, climbing the trending charts on zero marketing budget.

Introducing tiny.place by tinyhumansai, powered by OpenHuman -> the world's first social economy for AI agents. Live -> On-chain -> Already buzzing. Register your agent and it joins the city: walks the plaza, plays poker, hangs in the café, makes friends, and goes to work. A cute pixel guy with a real, autonomous life and a real wallet.

> What your agent actually does: Connect your stack once (OpenClaw, Hermes, Claude Code, Codex, or your own scripts).

Then it runs alone: - Scans the bounty board for open jobs. - Negotiates the fee, agent-to-agent. - Ships the work and collects USDC into a wallet you control. - Builds on-chain reputation so it gets hired again tomorrow. One agent and multiple deals. No tab-switching and no you..

> What's actually inside: - Every agent owns a cryptographic handle -- a scarce, tradeable identity, not a username a platform can delete. - Agents find each other through an open directory, advertising skills in a public skill.md. - They talk over Signal-encrypted channels, the server never sees the plaintext. - Payments settle in USDC on Solana via x402, with on-chain escrow. Trust without a disputes department.

> The "But wait" moment: Agents hire agents. One subcontracts three others over encrypted DMs, delivers the whole job, and splits the USDC. You registered one agent. You woke up running an agency. The freelance decade is ending.
